Green elf is a kind of perennial evergreen herbaceous vine with similar leaves and high ornamental value. it is very suitable to be used as an indoor potted plant.

1. Flowerpot selection

Green genie is suitable for growing in wide-mouth flowerpots, and flowerpots with a width of 11-12cm and a height of 25cm are the most suitable, so when choosing pots, try to choose flowerpots with a size of about 11-12cm, of course, you can also buy a little larger for later management.

2. Soil requirements

Green elves are suitable for growing in soils with loose soil, good drainage and good ventilation, so sandy loam is selected as far as possible when selecting soil. Of course, you can also use 5-40mm imported peat, and then break the peat with a machine and mix it with water. If you mix your own soil, you can choose some rotten leaf soil, sand and some vermiculite to plant evenly.

3. Lighting requirements

Green elves like light but are not resistant to exposure, so they can give appropriate light in spring, autumn and winter, and move to shady places as far as possible in summer. if they come to the summer high temperature season, they can sprinkle some water around the flowerpot to improve indoor humidity.

4. Temperature requirement

The green elf is not hardy, and the suitable temperature is 18-25 degrees, and not less than 10 degrees in winter, so it is generally moved to the sunny place indoors in late October. In summer, it is necessary to properly shade and sprinkle some water around the basin soil to increase the humidity of the air.

5. Moisture requirement

Green elves like to grow in a humid environment, but they are afraid of waterlogging, so don't water too much. You can water more in summer and less in spring, autumn and winter.

Generally speaking, green elves are easy to raise, as long as you choose sandy loam and flowerpots, do a good job of water and fertilizer, control the temperature at 18-25 degrees, and give some light in spring, autumn and winter.
