Campanula gets its name because its flowers look like wind chimes and can be used in flower beds, rock bamboo gardens or border gardens. In daily life, people often use them as potted plants. So, when will the wind chimes be sown?

When will the wind chimes be sown?

Campanula is usually sown from March to May or August to October. The optimum temperature for seed germination is 18-25 ℃. It can be sowed with peat board or pot, covered with a layer of fine soil after sowing, and can germinate after 15 days.

Second, how to raise the wind chimes?

1. Soil

Bluebells are generally suitable for growing in a good loose, good drainage, relatively humid environment, especially the four weak acidic or neutral soil is better. If the soil is acidic, lime water needs to be added to neutralize the soil. Therefore, the general pastoral soil, orchard soil, sandy soil and other mixed configuration is better, especially mixed with animal manure, is a better base fertilizer.

2. Watering

Campanula only needs to keep the soil and water slightly moist after growing, remember not to water too much, lest there is too much water, otherwise the whole plant will die. But the seedling growth can not be without water, especially in the dry environment, it is easy to cause bluebells wilt phenomenon, a long time is definitely unable to save. So watering should be determined according to soil wettability and growth.

3. Fertilization

In addition to giving Camellia oleifera base fertilizer, proper topdressing is necessary, especially in the vigorous growth season, fertilization can generally promote its growth once a month, or appropriate spraying pages can be stored in its leaves. Try to choose thinner nitrogen and potassium fertilizer when fertilizing. Of course, animal or human faeces are also acceptable. The summer temperature is too high, do not apply fertilizer at high temperature, so as to avoid wilting and burning of the whole plant.

4. Light and temperature

Campanula grows better when there is plenty of sunshine and blossoms more exuberantly, so it must be fully illuminated.

Wind chimes are easy to maintain and have high ornamental value, so you might as well raise one or two pots and put them at home.
