Paulownia is a perennial herb of Gesneriaceae and Caulownia, which has pink, red, purplish blue, white and complex colors, and blossoms from March to August every year.

Paulownia likes warm, moist and semi-shady growing environment. It blossoms twice a year in spring and autumn, which is an ideal holiday embellishment and indoor flower decoration.

The suitable temperature during the growing period is 20-25 ℃, dormancy occurs when the temperature drops to about 5 ℃ in winter, and the normal growth of the plant will be affected when the temperature is too high. When the temperature is more than 30 ℃ in summer, the plant will be semi-dormant.

Second, how to grow big paulownia bulbs?

First of all, bury the seed ball in the prepared soil, water the tree tree thoroughly, when the bud grows to about 0.5cm, dig out the seed ball and cut it into 2-4 pieces, each with a bud, and then transplant it to other pots. After transplanting, culture was placed in a place with scattered light, and watering and fertilization were carried out according to the growth of paulownia.

Large paulownia flowers, leaves are fluffy, once stained with water droplets will be very easy to rot, so avoid spraying water on the flowers and leaves. It is best to use the immersion method to water. Usually appropriate amount of watering, too much is easy to cause tuber rot, leaves withered and yellow, and even the whole plant death. During the period of high temperature in summer, water should be watered 1-2 times a day. When the air is dry, water should often be sprayed around the plant to increase the humidity of the environment. Watering should be uniform, not too dry and wet. Rain must be avoided during flowering. The potted soil is drier in winter.

Paulownia prefers loose, fertile and well-preserved humus soil. It is suitable to be cultivated in slightly acidic soil rich in humus and loose. It is commonly used to prepare 1 part of perlite, 1 part of river sand and 3 parts of rotten leaf soil plus a small amount of rotten and sun-dried finely crushed poultry manure. From leaf spreading to flowering, mature dilute organic liquid fertilizer is applied once a week, and phosphate fertilizer is needed after flower bud formation. Do not touch the leaf surface when fertilizing, spray clear water once after each fertilization and keep the leaf surface clean, at the same time, pay attention to the water droplets should not stay in the leaves for a long time after watering, otherwise the leaves will rot.
