What is Cordyceps sinensis?
Cordyceps sinensis is not only a plant of Cordyceps sinensis, but also a valuable traditional Chinese medicine, which is mainly produced in the alpine zones and snow-capped grasslands of Qinghai, Xizang, Sichuan, Yunnan and Gansu provinces in China.
The surface of Cordyceps sinensis is dark brown to brown, with fine longitudinal wrinkles, slightly inflated in the upper part, flexible and white in cross section. The air is fishy and the taste is bitter. It is better to be intact, hypertrophic, yellow and bright in outer color, yellow and white in inner color, and short in loculum.
2. Cultivation techniques of Cordyceps sinensis
The cultivation of Cordyceps sinensis can be divided into box planting and bottle planting.
Box planting refers to the cultivation with small wooden boxes and plastic pots, which need to be covered with thin film at the bottom and around the wooden box, then covered with fine sand, and the bacteria and insects are put into the culture.
Bottle cultivation refers to cultivation in canned bottles, usually with two bacteria and insects in each bottle.
After washing the ordinary canned bottle, put a layer of 2.5~3cm fine sand in the bottle, the water content of the soil is 60%, and then put the larvae infected with bacterial liquid on it.
The two larvae are required not to be close together, belly facing down, and then covered with 3cm thick and fine sand to flatten the surface slightly. In order to keep moist, seal it with plastic film and manage it at a suitable indoor and outdoor temperature to avoid direct sunlight.
