There are many varieties of grapes, the climate and geographical conditions are different, and the varieties planted are also different. In the process of grape planting, bagging technology is often used in order to increase economic benefits. What's the advantage of using a bag? What are the technical points?

What are the benefits of using bagging in the process of grape planting?

1. Reducing diseases, insect pests and bird pests can also prevent sunburn, black pox, anthrax and white rot on fruit ears, as well as fruit-eating pests, grape night moths and beetles.

2. After bagging, the times of drug use in fruit ear were reduced, the pesticide was not contacted directly, and the pesticide residue was reduced.

3. It can reduce the occurrence of fruit cracking, keep the fruit surface neat, the fruit powder intact, the appearance of the grape beautiful, and increase the commodity value.

What are the key points of grape bagging technology?

1. Preparation before bagging

The management of grape before bagging mainly includes fertilizer and water management during fruit expansion, fruit thinning, and pesticide application before bagging.

Fertilizer and water management: to strengthen fertilizer supply and re-apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer during fruit expansion period, water-soluble fertilizer can be selected to supplement tree nutrients, or 15-15-15 potassium sulfate compound fertilizer 30kg / mu can be applied; foliar fertilizer is mainly sprayed with calcium fertilizer and high potassium foliar fertilizer is applied after hard core.

When there is less water in the north, pay attention to timely irrigation after fertilization, and when there is more water in the south, pay attention to timely elimination of stagnant water in the garden.

Fruit thinning: the ear is too tight, the fruit is too dense, easy to cause drug penetration, poor ventilation, late easy to cause cracks, gray mold, acid rot and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out fruit thinning work.

Application before bagging: before bagging, spray the ear with medicine, which is easy to beat through, thoroughly remove the germs on the ear, make the grapes in a sterile environment after bagging, and reduce the incidence of disease in the later stage.

2. The timing of bagging

Grape bagging should be as early as possible, usually starting immediately after the fruit is stable, whole ear and grain thinning, and ending before the rainy season, in order to prevent early infectious diseases and sunburn.

If bagging is too late, the fruit growth enters the coloring period, and sugar begins to accumulate, not only the pathogen is easy to infect, but also sunburn and insect pests will occur to a large extent. In addition, bagging should avoid the hot weather after rain, and suddenly sunny day after continuous rain, if bagging immediately, it will aggravate the sunburn, so it will take 2-3 days to make the fruit slightly adapt to the high temperature environment and then bagging.

3. Bagging method

The correct bagging method is to open the mouth of the bag with the right hand to make the whole bag bulge, hold the bottom of the bag with the left hand, open the ventilated drains on both sides of the bottom of the bag, expand the bag, pull the bag up from the bottom, and place the stalk in the cut at the top of the bag so that the ear is in the center of the bag. Then tie the mouth of the bag with wire to avoid the inflow of Rain Water. Be careful not to grasp the ear or grain with your hand, so that the ear is naturally in the middle of the bag. after bagging, gently put the bag under the leaf and cover it with the leaf to prevent sunburn.

It is also worth noting that if the bagged fruit is not shaded by leaves, a paper hat should be added to the west or south ear of the vine to reduce sunburn. If you encounter high temperature (higher than 38 ℃) after bagging, you should open the bottom of the bag for ventilation to reduce the temperature in the bag. The bagging operation should be completed within 7-10 days.
