1. Variety selection

II. Seed treatment

III. Soil preparation

Cucumbers can be grown in nutrient-rich humus soil or in two portions of garden soil and one portion of well-burned cinder. In the later stage, some gravel or corroded pine wood should be added to the soil to have a moisturizing effect and make it difficult for water to be lost.

IV. Sowing

Dig a hole the size of an index finger in the soil, place the seeds to a depth of 2 cm, then cover them with soil and water them until the soil is wet. In about 3 days, the cucumber will take root and sprout.

V. Fertilizer and water supply

Cucumber fertilizer water supply generally adopt the principle of small water frequently irrigation and thin fertilizer frequently application to prevent soil ponding and fertilizer damage. During the germination period of cucumber, do not need watering, and so on after emergence can be watered once; in the growth period of cucumber, need to be watered every 3 days or so; flowering try not to water, can be watered every 7 days or so. If the soil is dry, it needs to be watered in advance.

Growers can hold melons in one hand, gently cut the fruit stalk with scissors in the other hand, keep the fruit stalk about 1cm long, and wipe off the dirt on the peel.
