Melon vegetables usually need artificial assistance, but the special varieties of cucumber in greenhouse have parthenocarpy ability, so artificial pollination is usually not needed. When other melons and vegetables are planted in the greenhouse, the yield of artificial pollination will be higher, if there are bees or flies and other insects in the greenhouse can also complete the task of auxiliary pollination. Eggplant pepper tomato is originally a self-pollinating plant that does not need artificial pollination, but the temperature and light condition in the greenhouse is poor, so it is easy to drop flowers and fruits, and sometimes growth regulators are used to protect flowers and fruits.

1. Eggplant in greenhouse showed symptoms of Verticillium wilt.

The middle and lower leaves of the plant began to develop from chlorosis and yellowing between veins or leaf margin to half-leaf or whole-leaf yellowing mottled, and the leaf margin rolled up slightly, sometimes only half-leaf disease. At the initial stage of the disease, the plant wilted at noon in sunny days, recovered in the early, late or rainy days, and no longer recovered in the later stage. The leaves withered and fell off, the plant only had light culms or heart leaves, and the fruit was ossified and stopped growing. Cutting off the diseased roots, stems, branches and petioles, it can be seen that the vascular bundles are yellowish brown or dark brown.

2. Control methods of Verticillium wilt in eggplant in greenhouse.

First, select disease-resistant varieties.

Second, seed disinfection: soak the seeds with 50% carbendazim wettable powder 500 times solution for 2 hours before sowing, or mix the seeds with 50% carbendazim wettable powder with 0.2% seed weight.

Third, disinfect the bed soil. Every 667m2, mix with 50% carbendazim wettable powder or 50% carbendazim wettable powder 3~4kg and 10 times dry fine soil, spread evenly on the ground and rake 15cm deeply.

Fourth, reasonable rotation. Rotation with non-Solanaceae crops for more than 3 years, such as onion, garlic, rice and so on. Strengthen field management. Formula fertilization was carried out, and 5000kg manure N, P, K mixed fertilizer 30kg was applied as base fertilizer every 667m2. In the high border, plastic film should be covered, watering should be controlled in the early stage, middle tillage should be strengthened, potash and nitrogen fertilizer should be applied in the fruiting period, topdressing and foliar spraying should be applied in time after picking.

Fifth, chemical prevention and control.
