Alligator turtle parent turtle breeding pool location as far as possible in quiet, sunny, shelter, especially to avoid nearby quarries, airports and so on. The construction of aquaculture ponds generally requires the pond to be 1-1.5 meters deep, square or round in shape and unlimited in area. Leave an area of 20% to 30% of the water surface of the parent turtle pond on one side of the pond as a spawning ground, and the spawning ground should be quiet and avoid light. Smooth the perimeter of the pond and spawning ground with cement to prevent crocodile turtles from burrowing. After the spawning ground is flattened with cement slurry, spread 40 centimeters of river sand or sand. There should be a certain slope to enter the spawning ground and be covered with wood or styrofoam to prevent the alligator tortoise from scratching its abdomen so that the parent turtle can climb into the spawning ground to lay eggs. Put a layer of sand or clay at the bottom of the pool. Build another 1-1.2-meter-high escape wall on the land around the pool.

The cement pond was disinfected with 15% 20g / m2 bleach and soaked in 1 ‰ superphosphate solution for 1-2 days before putting the turtles into culture. The stocking density of alligator turtles should be appropriate. Generally, when the water depth is 1 meter, there are 3 parent turtles per square meter; when the water depth is 2 meters, there are 4 turtles per square meter; when the water depth is less than 0.5 meters, it is appropriate to keep about 2 turtles per square meter. If the water is too shallow, the stocking density should be reduced to make it have a relatively quiet activity space. The male and female ratio of crocodile turtles should be (2: 3): 1. For parent turtle breeding, clear the pool before stocking, drain the pond water, insolate for 3 days, use 100 kg / mu of quicklime, sprinkle with a small amount of hydration pulp in the whole pool, rinse clean with water injection, release the turtles 5 days after entering the water, or disinfect the whole pool with potassium permanganate 50 mg / L after 3 days, and rinse clean with water injection every other day. Discharge water and then inject new water until the temperature is suitable for turtle breeding. The stocking density of parent turtles is 1 group per square meter. When stocking, gently put the container containing sterilized turtles into the water, allowing the turtles to climb out and swim into the water. The drug potassium permanganate was used during stocking and disinfection, the bathing dosage of turtle body was 1020mg / L, and the soaking time was 10 minutes. The parent turtle feed can be prepared by itself, requiring that the protein content in the feed should not be less than 38%, the calcium content should not be less than 1.2%, the multivitamin content should not be less than 1.1%, the lysine should not be less than 1%, and the mineral salt should not be less than 1%. If there is no special feed, it can be replaced by high-quality compound feed for adult soft-shelled turtles, such as fresh fish, shrimp, snails, clams, earthworms, livestock viscera, etc., and plant feed for fresh melon peel, green vegetables, carrots, etc., which should be disinfected before feeding. The feeding of parent turtles should be strictly in accordance with the four principles of quality, quantity, timing and fixed point, and the quality requirements of formula feed should conform to the safety limit of NY 5072 fishery formula feed and the regulation of SC/T 1047 formula feed for Chinese soft-shelled turtle. All animal feed and plant feed should be fresh, pollution-free and non-spoilage; the daily feeding amount of compound feed should be 3%-4% of the body weight of turtles, and the amount of feed should be adjusted according to the climate and the feeding intensity of turtles. The amount should be controlled at 1: 1.5 hours. It is regularly required to be fed at noon every day from early winter to early spring, and twice in the fast-growing summer at 9: 00 a. M. and in the evening, respectively. The feed is put on the part of the feed table that is not flooded.
