For earthworms raised in boxes or beds in large farms, due to the addition of feed for many times, after 2-3 months, the fecal particles and earthworms need to be separated, and the egg cocoons produced in the feed also need to be separated from fecal particles. There are several methods of separation:

The main results are as follows: 1) after adding feed for several times, the worm density is high, the number of egg cocoons is increased, and the feeding bed (box) of basic manure feed is installed with earthworms and dung grains in a large wooden basket with 1.2 cm × 1.2 cm mesh barbed wire at the bottom, making use of the characteristic that earthworms are afraid of strong light to make earthworms drill to the bottom automatically under strong light. Then use the scraper to scrape the fecal particles and egg cocoons layer by layer into the hopper until the earthworms drill into the new material layer below through the mesh, when most of the earthworms are separated from the fecal particles. Then, the fecal particles and egg cocoons were moved into the incubator. Under suitable temperature, after 30-40 days, all the egg cocoons hatched and grew to a certain extent, but did not reach the oviposition stage of earthworms. Continue to use the basket leakage method described above to separate the young worms from faeces. Put the young worms into a new feeding bed. After screening and packaging, dung grains can be used as fertilizer for urban flower cultivation. 2) bait bait method when the feeding bed is basically dung, stop feeding on the surface, but add feed on both sides of the feeding bed to lure adult worms into the new feed. After most of them are induced, all the old feed containing egg cocoons will be cleared out. Then combine the new feed on both sides of the old bed with earthworms. The earthworm feces and egg cocoons were removed and hatched on the surface of the feeding bed with new feed. After the young worms are hatched, feed on the new feed in the lower layer, and then scrape out the earthworm feces in the upper layer. 3) the method of scraping feces uses strong light to make earthworms drill into the lower layer of human beings, and then scrapes off one layer of earthworm feces with a scraper. At the end of the scrape, the earthworms are concentrated on the surface of the feeding bed. The earthworm feces and egg cocoons were moved into the hatching bed for hatching. After hatching, the young worms are separated by the same method.
