Chorionic gonadotropin and pituitary gland of common carp, bighead carp and carp were injected into artificial labor.

Common carp, bighead carp and carp pituitary are basically used as labor-inducing agents in the Pearl River Delta region. The dose for every 0.5 kg body weight is 7 bighead carp and carp pituitary (1 carp pituitary is equivalent to 2.7 bighead carp and carp pituitary). Two injections were divided into two injections: two were injected at the first time, and five were injected after 12 hours. The eggs were spawned about 18 hours after the second injection at the water temperature of 23-25 ℃. Male fish use bighead carp and carp pituitary gland 1 and 2, generally do not make the second injection. During injection, the hormone is directly dissolved in normal saline or distilled water. To use the pituitary gland, put it in a mortar and grind it into powder, then add normal saline or distilled water, mix it evenly and then use it, injecting 1 ml per tail. For the needle for injection, it is better to use the No. 6 needle, and the depth of acupuncture is about 1 cm. During injection, the needle is placed at a 45-degree angle in front of the fish and pierced into the scale-free base of the pectoral fin. When operating, the hands should be steady and the action should be fast. After the injection, pull out the needle and press the injection place with your finger to prevent the liquid from flowing out of the needle. Ophiocephalus Argus does not have strict requirements on the conditions of spawning ponds. After injection, parent fish can be put into cement ponds or soil ponds with an area of 1 square meter and a water depth of 0.6 square meters, or even in containers such as larger water tanks and wooden pots. Each spawning pond (or container) can hold a pair of parent fish (1 female and 1 male). Cover the spawning pond or container with a net to prevent parent fish from jumping out, put some water plants on the surface of the water to block the sun, or put the container in the dark and keep the environment quiet. In this way, at a suitable water temperature, parent fish can lay eggs and fertilize themselves without artificial insemination. The parent fish that have laid the first batch of eggs can mature again after a month or so of breeding, and can be spawned again. After the eggs are laid, they initially sink to the bottom of the water and float on the surface after absorbing water. They can be fished out with a ladle or plate and hatched in a small cement pool or a large plastic basin with a diameter of about 1 meter. Disinfect the incubator with potassium permanganate solution the day before spawning. Generally put 10 to 20 thousand tablets per square meter of water surface. A shade is built on the incubator to avoid direct sunlight. During the incubation period, a certain water level and a constant water temperature should be maintained, and the difference should be no less than 2 ℃. Pick up the dead eggs (white, opaque) and remove the egg membrane at any time to prevent the deterioration of the water quality, and change the water in an appropriate amount in time to keep the water fresh. Usually, fish fry can be hatched in 2-3 days. The newly hatched fish fry is shaped like a tadpole with a grayish-black body and nourished by its own yolk sac. After 4 and 5 days, the yolk sac was absorbed and should be fed to live water fleas in time. The amount of water flea is based on the amount of fish fry eaten, and a small amount of water flea is appropriate for many times. After 5-6 days of feeding, the fish fry turn yellow, with a total length of about 1 cm, which can be moved to a small pond for cultivation.
