In the process of goose production, meat geese, fattening geese and breeding geese are often raised on the ground, and brooding is often carried out on the ground. Padding materials are often used in these processes. The padding materials used in the wild goose farm are mostly sawdust, rice straw or other straw. The rule of general use is: more cushions in winter, less pads or no pads in summer, more pads in cloudy and rainy days, and less pads in sunny days. At the end of a production cycle, the removed bedding is actually a mixture of wild goose dung and padding. There are several ways to treat this mixture:

1. Cellar storage or storage.

The mixture of goose droppings and padding materials for meat can be silaged separately. In order to make the fermentation work well, the water content of the mixture should be adjusted to 40%. The composting temperature of the mixture reached the peak on the 4th ~ 8th day of storage and could kill many kinds of pathogenic bacteria. After being kept for several days, the composting temperature gradually decreased and balanced with the air temperature. After cellar storage or storage, the mixture of goose dung and cushion can be fed to ruminants such as cattle and sheep.

2. Direct combustion

In the use of bedding grass flat culture, because the clearance interval is long, as long as the house is well ventilated and the drinking fountain does not leak, then the collected goose dung cushions are relatively dry. If the moisture content of the goose dung cushion mixture is less than 30%, it can be directly used as fuel for heating. It is estimated that a larger wild goose farm can basically meet the thermal energy needs of this field if it can reasonably and fully use the goose dung cushion mixture produced in this field as fuel. Of course, the direct combustion of goose dung bedding mixture requires a special combustion device, so it requires a certain amount of investment in advance. If an infectious disease breaks out in the wild goose farm, the bedding material must be treated by incineration.

3. Production of biogas

Using fecal mat mixture as biogas raw material, because it already contains more mat grass (mainly some plant tissues), the ratio of carbon to nitrogen is more suitable, so it is very convenient to be used as biogas raw material.

4. Directly return to the field as fertilizer

Sawdust, straw or other straw can be returned directly to the field if they are scraps before making Sichuan.
