The following is an introduction to children.

Turtles hatched from eggs are called young turtles. When the juvenile turtle comes out of its shell, it usually weighs 3 to 13 grams, its body is young, its vitality is weak, and it does not adapt to the environment. If it is not carefully cultivated, it is easy to cause death. Therefore, to do a good job in the cultivation of young turtles is the most important link in turtle breeding. Here are eight points for attention in the breeding of juvenile turtles for reference.

1. When the juvenile turtle crawls out of its shell, it can not be taken out immediately, crawl on the sand for 1 hour, and then put into a wooden basin and plastic basin for 2 days, so that its umbilical cord is detached and converged, its body changes from curling to straight, and the yolk sac is completely absorbed to prevent yolk sac from being scratched and infected by bacteria. The standard juvenile turtles are completely detached umbilical cord, closed umbilical hole, individual mass more than 4 grams, sensitive activity, strong physique, disease-free and injury-free. 2. Disinfecting young turtles soaking in 500 mg / L vitamin C for 10 minutes before entering the pond can not only improve the survival rate of young turtles, but also strengthen their growth. 3. It is better to enter the juvenile turtle pond with an indoor cement pool of 4 square meters, with a water depth of 10 centimeters and 20 centimeters, with a feed table set at 2 centimeters underwater, and a rest and sun back table where there is sunshine. The bottom of the pool is covered with sand grains of 5cm to 10cm. No sand is laid under the feed stage to ensure the freshness of the water quality. 4. The stocking density with reasonable density can improve the survival rate and accelerate the growth of young turtles, so the density is about 100 per square meter. 5. The energy and nutrients needed for the growth and development of newly hatched young turtles are completely provided by egg yolk. The feed of young turtles should be fresh, tender, fine, soft, easy to digest and attractive. Feeding should be timed, located, qualitatively and quantitatively. Three days after hatching, the young turtles were fed with a small amount of cooked egg yolk, and five days later, they were fed with minced fish, shrimp, snails, clams, livestock and poultry viscera, supplemented with melons and cereals, and the ratio of animal to plant food was 2:1. The amount of feeding accounts for 5% to 10% of the total number of young turtles, which is fed twice a day, at 8: 9 a.m. and 5: 6 p.m., and it is advisable to finish eating in 2 hours. 6. Water quality management water source is better for non-polluting rivers, lakes and reservoirs. The water quality should maintain a certain amount of plankton, yellowish green in color, 25cm to 30cm in transparency, pH7~8. Remove the residual bait that sank to the bottom of the pool every day and change the water every 2 days. When changing the water, the bottom of the pool should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The water temperature is controlled at 2530 ℃. During the high temperature season in summer, measures should be taken to prevent heat and cool down. When changing water, special attention should be paid to the difference in water temperature between new and old water, which is generally no more than 2-3 ℃, otherwise the tortoise is very easy to get sick. 7. The environment tortoise is quiet, sunny, clean, afraid of cool, wind and dirty, so the environment around the juvenile turtle pond should be leeward, sunny, quiet, warm and avoid pollution and noise. 8. In the process of breeding young turtles, attention should be paid to preventing the invasion of animals such as snakes, mice, birds, cats and so on.
