Raising flies with cage nets in ordinary houses is a widely used technology in fly farms that have sprung up in China in recent years. This technology requires heating facilities in the room, otherwise, when the indoor temperature is less than 27 ℃ in autumn, winter and spring, the fecundity of flies will be seriously reduced. When the heating temperature of the room is on the low side, especially in the north, the method of pupating flies to protect insects has to be adopted in winter, resulting in the interruption of fly breeding and a substantial decline in economic benefits. The problem of cultivating flies in plastic greenhouse has been solved successfully. It can make flies produce continuously all the year round and increase the breeding benefit several times. It has become a very promising technology.

Flies have the following requirements in terms of temperature, humidity and light: the most suitable temperature for flies is 27 ℃ ~ 30 ℃. Flies can move at 8: 12 ℃, but cannot mate or stand on food. They can only land on ceilings and walls and do not like to move. At minus 5 ℃, flies die for 3 to 5 days. The temperature of fly larvae is higher than that of adults, and the optimum temperature for its rapid development is 35 ℃. It stops activity at minus 1-2 ℃ and dies at-5-6 ℃. When the temperature is too high for 45-55 ℃, its increasing rate is half of that at normal temperature. The suitable food temperature for fly larvae is 3035 ℃. In terms of humidity, adults require indoor humidity of 55% to 60%. When the humidity is too high, the fly legs and body are easy to get wet and hinder their activities. The humidity needed during the larval growth period is 65% to 70%. Flies like to move in bright places, and the greater the brightness, the greater the amount of activity. Artificial breeding flies in the room should have a lighting device, lighting more than 10 hours a day. Raising flies in plastic greenhouse can easily meet the requirements of these characteristics in the process of fly reproduction, and its advantages are as follows:

The main results are as follows: 1. The feeding temperature is significantly increased without special heating facilities, and the temperature can easily be kept at 27: 30 ℃ in spring, summer and autumn. With the rolling up and covering of grass curtain on the roof, the measures of heating and cooling are simple and easy, and there is almost no increase in feeding cost. Even in the cold winter, the average temperature in the shed can reach about 20 ℃.

2. Humidity is stable and easy to keep flies in ordinary houses. In order to maintain a certain humidity, it is necessary to constantly sprinkle water on the ground, while in the plastic greenhouse, because of its good tightness, on the ground hardened with no cement, there is no need to sprinkle water and do not need to specifically adjust the humidity.

3. The light is sufficient in the plastic greenhouse, the grass curtain on the roof is opened, and the sunlight filtered by the plastic film is reflected in the whole greenhouse, and the light is kept simple and easy. The area of the greenhouse can be determined according to the feeding size. There are two ways to raise flies in a plastic greenhouse: one is to set up a three-dimensional gauze net in the greenhouse and raise flies in the net; the other is to raise flies in the greenhouse, stacking a certain amount of straw and straw rope in the greenhouse, and regard each greenhouse as a cage. This method has the advantages of larger investment, larger area and lower feeding density than the previous method. The breeding method of setting up a screen in the greenhouse generally builds a plastic greenhouse with a length of 20 meters, a width of 4 meters, a low wall of 2 meters and a high wall of 3 meters, and the screen has three layers.

Feeding method of adult flies: cage: the size of the cage is 505050cm, on which there is a screen of the same size. the center of one end of the net is a cloth sleeve with a diameter of about 20cm and a length of 33cm, so as to take and put flies and change food. A feeding dish (7cm in diameter) is filled with sugar for adult flies to feed on, or a piece of water-absorbing foam is placed in it to provide water for adult flies and can also be used to lay eggs. The adult flies are reared in each cage with 8000000 flies. Whether it is newly collected adult flies or feathered adults, sugar and water should be supplied in time to prevent starvation and death. Adult flies lay eggs 3 to 5 times in a lifetime, up to 10 times, ranging from 100 to 150 to 300 eggs each time. The feeding method of the larvae: first put the feed in the feeding box with a thickness of not more than 4 cm, and then slowly put the trapped fly eggs (one-day-old larvae) into the feed in the feeding box with a worm shovel, and the young maggots can slowly disperse and drill into the fodder. When the larvae eat feed, generally from top to bottom, such as humidity in the box, high temperature or insufficient feed, excessive population density, etc., causing the young maggots to climb out. Breeders should check at any time and take timely measures such as adding materials or cooling, reducing humidity and so on.
