Fly maggots have a wide range of bait, with a wide range of bait sources and cheap prices, so it is necessary to make full use of local resources. In addition to wheat bran, bean noodles, distiller's grains, bean dregs, soy sauce dregs, sunflower skins, corn shaft powder, chicken dung, pig dung, cow dung, rotten fish and so on are good bait for maggots. If distiller's grains is used as bait, the pH must be adjusted to neutral and mixed with wheat bran according to 1: 2, the effect is better.

Maggot culture medium can be divided into two types: one is made of agricultural and sideline scraps such as wheat bran, rice bran, distiller's grains, bean dregs, sugar dregs, slaughterhouse feet, etc., and the other is made from animal manure such as cow dung, horse dung, pig manure, chicken manure and so on. The former category is mainly to master the allocation proportion of each component, control the water content at about 60%, and the matrix should go through a drunken process of about 12 hours before receiving eggs. The latter type of substrate requires that the raw materials are short, fine, fresh and the water content is about 70%. Before use, two or more kinds of substrates should be mixed and piled in proportion, covered with thin film retting, and fermented for more than 48 hours before eggs can be collected. The PH is 6. 5%. 5-7. Between 0, the overacid can be regulated by lime, and the alkali can be adjusted by dilute hydrochloric acid; every square meter of culture pond area is poured into the matrix 40-50 kg, and 20-25 grams of fly eggs are connected. If the maggot feed with the ratio of chicken manure to pig manure is 1: 2, the benefit is better. Generally, the thickness of the material is about 7-10 meters, and the humidity is about 70%-80%. Under the condition of 18-33 ℃, the larvae can hatch for about 3-32 hours. the larvae can hatch for 4-5 days before pupation after feeding on maggots.
