Because the centipede that is molting has no ability to resist, the new skin is fresh and tender, and it is easy to attract a large group of ants to bite to death. At the same time, the centipede is in a half-sleep state when holding eggs and hatching, so it is slow to move and is susceptible to constriction.

First, ants make the centipede molt and the greatest enemy during the incubation period of spawning. Because the centipede that is molting has no ability to resist, the new skin is fresh and tender, and it is easy to attract a large group of ants to bite to death. At the same time, the centipede is in the half-sleep state of holding eggs and hatching, so it is easy for ants to take advantage of the opportunity to kill the centipede or drive the centipede away, while ants gather on the egg mass to eat egg food. The following measures can be taken to prevent ants:

1. Once ants are found, pig bones can be put into the pool to trap and kill ants. If there are too many ants, immediately transfer the centipede, and then use boiling water to kill the ants in the pond. 2. Mix regularly with quicklime or BHC powder or 50 grams of naphthalene (smelly pills) and 250 grams of sawdust to make poison erbium, which is scattered around the pool or room to prevent ants from entering. 3. Mix 25 grams of honey, 25 grams of borax, 25 grams of glycerin and 250 grams of warm water, and trap and kill ants around the farm. 4. To raise the soil, we should choose the soil that is not contaminated by ants or ant eggs. The production method is to soak it in hot water and then expose it in the sun to kill ants or ant eggs mixed in the soil. Second, acaroid mites, which are less than one millimeter long, are easy to parasitize on the abdomen and feet of centipedes, especially centipedes that have just molted their skin. If the humidity in the feeding room or pond is too high, when the temperature is high, it is easy to attract a large number of acaroid mites to settle down and reproduce here, bringing acaroid mites to harm the centipede. After being parasitized by acaroid mites, it not only hinders the activity of the centipede, but also the stimulation of the toxin produced by acaroid mites makes the centipede not quiet. What is more serious is that the acaroid mites absorb a large amount of nutrients from the centipede, causing the centipede to become thin and die. The prevention and control methods are as follows: 1. First of all, deal with the breeding soil and kill acaroid mites and full eggs with hot blisters and exposure. 2. Secondly, put pig bones into the pond, trap acaroid mites, remove them 2 or 3 times a day, and the effect is very good.
