Green shrimp is one of the most popular aquatic products with delicate meat, delicious taste and high nutritional value. in recent years, the price remains high and the market demand is exuberant. Lianshui County has made great efforts to promote green shrimp culture in recent years, and the area of green shrimp culture has reached more than 8000 mu. Scientific feeding is a key link in raising green shrimp. In the work of fishery science and technology, it is often found that some farmers are fed at will, resulting in some unnecessary waste. Based on years of experience and the actual situation of culture, I summed up the five principles that should be mastered in feeding green shrimp for reference for the majority of farmers.

1. Determine the feeding amount scientifically: set up a bait table around the pond, sprinkle it evenly along the pool during feeding, check the feeding condition of the prawns after 2 hours, reduce the feeding amount when there is residual bait, and increase it when there is no residual bait. 2. Feed the shrimp according to the water temperature, weather, water quality and growth: less when the water temperature is below 18 ℃ or higher than 32 ℃, and more when the water temperature is 25-30 ℃; when the weather is sunny, windy and warm, little or no feeding when the weather is bad, rainy, muggy or cold; when the water quality is fresh and the dissolved oxygen is sufficient, the shrimp can be fed normally, while the water quality is poor and the dissolved oxygen is low. Green prawns grow vigorously, feed more when there is no disease, otherwise feed less; feed less when a large number of shrimp molt, and feed more one day after molting. 3. Feeding according to different growth and development stages of green shrimp: from entering the pond to growing to 3 cm in body length, it is generally fed mainly with natural bait, combined with the mixture of soybean beating and small miscellaneous fish pulping. When the body length is more than 3 cm, it is mainly fed with artificial bait, with bean cake, rice bran and green feed. 4. The artificial diet of green shrimp should be made into granules rather than powder. 5. Adhere to the principle of a small number of times: generally 8:00, 20% of the daily feed input is 20% of the daily feed volume.
