Earthworm has high protein content and a variety of nutrients. It is not only a good feed for chickens, ducks, pigs and fish, but also a beneficial food for human beings. Earthworm manure can activate soil and is an advanced horticultural fertilizer. Earthworm dung contains humic acid as high as 11%-68%, which can promote the absorption of phosphorus by crops and increase the yield of rape and cotton by more than 10%. Using earthworms as feed additives, broilers were put on the market 7-10 days earlier, and the laying rate was increased by 15% and 30%. The main technical points of raising earthworms with biogas residue are as follows:

There are many ways to make earthworms in earthworm bed, including indoor and outdoor culture, indoor pit culture, pot culture and box culture, and pit culture outside. According to the existing conditions in rural areas, indoor ground culture bed and outdoor culture bed can be adopted. The indoor floor is required for cement floor and solid soil surface, the room is required to be ventilated, dark and quiet, and the place with sunrise and higher terrain should be chosen outdoors, and the soil under the bed should be tightly compacted. The season needs to build a simple Arbor to protect against the sun and rain, and cover the bait with wet grass, with a thickness of 10 cm ~ 15 cm, to avoid a large amount of water volatilization.

The preparation of biogas dregs bait will drain and spread the biogas dregs from the biogas digester, let the ammonia and biogas in the biogas dregs escape, and then mix 80% dried biogas dregs and 20% broken grass, leaves and organic domestic waste into bed and pile them up, with a thickness of 20 cm and a humidity of 65%.

The suitable temperature for earthworms to live in the earthworm bed is 15 ℃ ~ 30 ℃. Reproduction stops when the temperature is less than 12 ℃, and there is a risk of heat death when it exceeds 35 ℃. Therefore, in the high temperature season, we should pay attention to sprinkling water to cool down, cover in winter, increase temperature and keep warm. In a year, April to May is the peak season for growth and reproduction. Under suitable conditions, earthworms lay eggs every 7 ~ 8 days, and 3 ~ 4 small worms can be hatched per egg. Young worms generally grow into adults in 60 ~ 90 days and grow up in 4 months. In the process of breeding, materials are usually added once a month. Earthworm feces should be cleaned regularly and earthworms should be separated, which is an important link to promote the normal growth of earthworms. It is best to raise earthworms separately, because mixed culture may cause worm autolysis and affect the yield.
