Wild boar especially like to eat green feed, its proportion can account for more than 50% of the diet, combined with a small amount of concentrate feed can raise a strong wild boar.

① green fodder: commonly used are alfalfa, celery root, amaranth, sweet potato vine leaves, green cut corn, green cut barley and so on. The green feed has high crude protein content, high digestibility, comprehensive amino acids, rich vitamin content, good quality and high utilization rate.

② root tuber and melon and fruit feed, including sweet potato, potato, pumpkin, carrot, etc., this kind of feed is crisp, tender and succulent, can stimulate appetite and high digestibility of organic matter, and plays an important role in improving dietary nutritional composition and digestibility, but it should not be fed alone, it must be mixed with coarse feed and concentrate, and then supplemented with protein feed in order to achieve satisfactory feeding effect.

③ silage: the green fodder is stored for the off-season feeding of winter and spring green fodder. Commonly used as silage are: sweet potato rattan leaves, cabbage gang, radish tassel, cabbage gang, grass and so on.

④ roughage includes hay, agricultural by-products (stem, vine, vine, shell, straw, seedling, etc.), leaves and dregs, which is the main feed of wild boar in winter and spring. Roughage has high crude fiber content, rich vitamin content, more calcium but less phosphorus, so attention should be paid to matching with other feeds when feeding.
