In the process of shrimp culture, bait is the largest input in the process of shrimp culture, with good feed selection and high utilization rate, which plays an important role in improving shrimp immunity, preventing diseases and optimizing shrimp quality. the following three points should be paid attention to when feeding:

1. Feeding prawns scientifically according to different growth and development stages: sufficient basal fertilizer should be applied before stocking, and large zooplankton and benthos such as Cladocera and copepod should be cultivated. A large amount of palatable natural bait can be obtained after the shrimp fry go down the pond. At the same time, 30% of small miscellaneous fish, fish meal, silkworm pupa powder, crushed snail-clam meat and processed surimi were added. When the young shrimp reached more than 3 cm, the full-price compound pellet feed with crude protein content of more than 30% was fed.

2. Feeding scientifically according to the fishing season: the animal feeds that the prawns like to eat are minced snail meat, fish meal, minced fish surimi, etc. They are mainly fed with self-made bait in the first 10 to 15 days of autumn, and the peak growing season is from August to September. The shrimp is mainly fed with pellets, and some animal baits are added within 3 to 5 days before the shrimp molting. From late September to October, the feeding proportion of animal feed can be increased to promote the growth of green shrimp, increase the size of green shrimp and prevent molting disorder.

Third, feeding scientifically according to the living habits of green prawns: they have the habit of sleeping during the day and coming out at night, and they like to forage in the aquatic plants by the pool. Artificial feeding is generally done twice a day, that is, at 8: 00 a.m. and 5: 6 p.m., the feeding amount is 30% and 70% of the whole day's bait, respectively. Bait feeding is put far away from the beach in the morning and in the shallow place at night, which requires regular, quantitative and qualitative feeding, generally taking 3-4 hours after feeding as the standard. The daily dose can be calculated according to 5%-8% of body weight. The feeding of green shrimp bait should be flexibly mastered according to the weather, water quality and eating conditions. Generally speaking, you can cast less in early summer and late autumn, and more in the growing season. If the weather is sunny and the activity is normal and the food preparation is vigorous, you should vote more and less in cloudy and rainy weather.
