When the air temperature drops below 10 ℃ (growth temperature 15 ℃ ~ 30 ℃), it seldom eats and hibernates. In order for Monopterus Albus to survive the winter safely, the water level in the culture pond should be raised to 3050%.

1. Overwintering with water. Monopterus Albus is a cold-blooded fish with variable temperature and strong adaptability to the environment. When the air temperature drops below 10 ℃ (growth temperature 15 ℃ ~ 30 ℃), it is rare to eat and hibernate in the hole. In order for Monopterus Albus to survive the winter safely, the water level in the culture pond should be raised to 30 ~ 50cm, and the water temperature at the bottom of the pool should be kept above 0 ℃ in winter. If the pool is full of ice, the ice must be opened every day to prevent rice field eel from lack of oxygen.

two。 The dry pond overwintering method. Drain the pool water when the water temperature is below 10 ℃ to ensure that the bottom soil is moist. Cover the surface of the pond soil with a layer of rice straw or wheat straw and corn straw with a thickness of 30 cm.

3. Indoor overwintering. When the air temperature is below 10 ℃, transfer the rice field eel cultured in the pond to overwintering indoors, and put the rice field eel into the pool or bucket according to the proportion of 1 kg of rice field eel to 2 kg of water indoors. Change the water once a day to ensure that the indoor temperature is between 2 ℃ and 5 ℃.

4. Overwintering in plastic greenhouse. When the water temperature is lower than 12 ℃ in winter, the effect of overwintering with plastic greenhouse is also very good. The water level of the pond in the plastic greenhouse is slightly higher than that of culture, and the temperature in the greenhouse is kept between 2 ℃ and 8 ℃. When the temperature is highest at noon every day, open the vents in the greenhouse to make the air in the shed fresh, and install vents at the top of the greenhouse to prevent Monopterus Albus from lack of oxygen.
