The method of raising pheasant to prolong the peak of laying eggs
Selection and breeding of improved varieties
The female pheasant is required to be physically strong, weighing 1 kg ~ 1.5 kg, well developed, gentle, lively and active, bright red beard and bright eyes. The male pheasant is symmetrical, well-developed, well-developed chest muscle, bright red crown, loud crow, plump feathers, and weighs more than 1.5 kg.
Do a good job in epidemic prevention
Keeping pheasants in a healthy state is an important measure to prolong the peak period of egg production and improve the fertilization rate of breeding eggs, so the enclosure must be kept clean and sprayed once a week with 1000 times solution of permethrin or carbendazim. The trough is scrubbed with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution once a day. During the peak period of egg production, multiple epidemic diseases include white dysentery, colibacillosis and so on.
Scientific proportioning
Provide adequate nutrition to pheasants during breeding. The feed formula is as follows: corn 50%, bean cake 15%, wheat bran 17%, sorghum 6.5%, fish meal 8%, shell meal 2%, bone meal 1.2%, salt 0.3%. Add 100 grams of methionine, 100 grams of choline chloride and 10 grams of multivitamin in every 100 kilograms of feed, and the vaccine against egg drop syndrome is injected once two months after laying.
Male-female ratio
The reasonable combination of male and female is an important measure to reduce the feeding cost and improve the laying rate. The scientific male-female ratio is 1 ∶ 3 to 1 ∶ 4.
Feeding and management
Clean the chicken coop regularly every day, feed it regularly and provide enough clean drinking water. Keep the temperature in the house at 15 ℃ ~ 25 ℃, pay attention to ventilation and cooling when the temperature is high, keep warm when the temperature is low, and deal with the relationship between heat preservation and ventilation.
