Health and epidemic prevention of white-feathered broilers during brooding

Chicks have weak physique and poor ability to resist pathogenic microorganisms. once any disease occurs, it is difficult to control, which will not only control the development of the disease, but also cause irreparable losses to the future production. Therefore, in order to do a good job in health and epidemic prevention during the brooding period, we must give priority to prevention. To do this:

① should strengthen feeding and management, take good care of chickens and enhance the resistance of the body. The feed is required to be fresh and properly matched to meet the needs of chickens for various nutrients as much as possible.

② continuously provides adequate drinking water, provides suitable temperature, humidity and light for the growth of chicks, keeps the air fresh in the chicken house, and is often ventilated. The feeding density of chicks is reasonable.

③ is immunized with various vaccines regularly to enhance the body's resistance, and prophylactic administration can be carried out in the early stage of brooding to reduce the occurrence of common diseases such as white dysentery in chicks.

④ formulates a strict disinfection system and adheres to it to the end, eliminating all kinds of pathogenic microorganisms, regularly using 1-2% hot alkali water or 0.1% potassium permanganate water to disinfect material troughs, drinking fountains and other utensils, and setting up disinfection pools at the door.

⑤ establishes a strict isolation system, and there should be isolation houses for newly purchased chicks, and breeders are forbidden to string chicken coops with each other; personnel are fixed.

⑥ creates a quiet growing environment for chicks to prevent sudden noise and prevent cats and dogs from entering the nursery so as not to cause panic and crush casualties. ⑦ eliminates rodent damage, because rats can not only kill chicks, but also spread disease, sufficient chicken industry-- great harm, must be completely eliminated.
