Six points for attention in breeding prawns

As prawns from all over the country have entered the peak harvest period, so far, most shrimp farmers have finished the production of the first production, and many have entered the breeding stage of the second production of shrimp. The author introduces the matters needing attention in the current investment of shrimp as follows for reference of the same trade.

1. Shrimp seedling farm should choose shrimp seedling farm with high technical level, large scale, perfect equipment, better parent shrimp spawning, good reputation, convenient transportation and close distance.

2. Water quality measurement and disease detection of shrimp seedling ponds

The main results are as follows: (1) there is not much difference between the water temperature, salinity and pH value of shrimp seedling pond and the water quality index of shrimp seedling pond.

(2) Shrimp seedlings are randomly sampled for virus detection, but shrimp seedlings with virus are not allowed.

3. The standard of high quality shrimp seedlings.

(1) Specification and body color. The body length of Penaeus Monodon is about 1.2 cm, black is better, while the length of South American white shrimp is about 0.8 cm, transparent is better.

(2) the shrimp seedling is fat and strong, the shape is complete, the body surface is smooth, the whole body does not have any attachment, the shrimp body has no damage and deformity, and the population develops evenly and neatly.

(3) the shrimp seedling is full of muscle, the stomach and intestines are full of food, the shrimp seedling bounces flexibly and responds very quickly to external stimuli.

(4) the edge of the shrimp head breastplate is not rolled up, the eyes are clear and symmetrical, the stalks are forked, the tentacles are together, and the tail fan is open.

(5) the shrimp seedlings have strong ability to reverse the water and have the behavior of touching the wall, and the seedlings can be distributed quickly and evenly in the water spoon.

4. Choose and buy shrimp fry

(1) two days before the purchase of seedlings, 50 healthy shrimp seedlings were put into a 40-mesh cage of 1 square meter in the pond for trial water. the survival rate was more than 90% after 24 hours, and the seedlings could be released, otherwise, it indicated that the water quality of the pond was not suitable for seedling release.

(2) Shrimp seedlings should be purchased in the same batch, preferably in the same pond. The number of seedlings is as accurate as possible, buy enough at one time.

5. Transport shrimp seedlings

The main results are as follows: (1) in order to understand the weather changes before transporting seedlings, sunny day transportation is the best.
