Isolation measures countries and regions that have eliminated classical swine fever mainly take measures such as banning the introduction of live pigs, pork and underheated classical swine fever products from countries and regions with classical swine fever, so as to prevent the reintroduction of classical swine fever virus. If there are cases of classical swine fever, destroy the infected group immediately.

1. Isolation measures Countries and regions where swine fever has been eliminated mainly take measures to prohibit the introduction of live pigs, pork and underheated swine fever products from countries and regions with swine fever, so as to prevent the reintroduction of swine fever virus. In case of swine fever cases, all pigs in infected groups shall be destroyed immediately, the source of infection and possible contacts shall be traced, and the contaminated sites shall be thoroughly disinfected. In areas where swine fever is prevalent, comprehensive epidemic prevention measures focusing on prevention should be taken at ordinary times. In case of swine fever epidemic, the epidemic site shall be blocked, the whole pig farm shall be inspected, the sick pigs shall be slaughtered urgently, the livestock house, environment, excrement water and leftover feed shall be thoroughly disinfected, and the healthy pigs shall be injected with drugs urgently, and the personnel in the pig farm shall be prohibited from coming and going.

2. Immunization of CSFV attenuated vaccine is a very effective vaccine for preventing CSFV. It produces immunity 7 days after vaccination, and the validity period of immunity is 1 year. Generally, boars, breeding sows and breeding pigs are injected once a year in spring and autumn, with a dose of 1 to 2 heads, or doubled according to the situation. Piglets can be immunized in two ways.

(1)3 By 4 weeks of age, the first immunization is given at a dose of 3 to 4 doses, and the second immunization is given at 9 to 10 weeks of age at a dose of 1 to 2 doses.

(2)In pig farms with swine fever, newborn piglets were injected with 4 doses of vaccine before feeding, and then fed freely after 2 hours, and then boosted once at 8 to 9 weeks of age. When swine fever is prevalent, pigs with normal body temperature and no symptoms can be vaccinated with 2 to 4 doses of swine fever vaccine urgently, and pigs with high temperature symptoms can be injected intramuscularly with large doses of swine fever vaccine, generally 0.5 doses per kilogram of body weight, which can be modified according to the disease condition. If necessary, repeated injection can be carried out on the third day.
