The technology of raising shrimps in rice fields is now more and more widely spread, and it has also become mature. Many people have adopted the method of raising shrimps in rice fields, and have achieved good returns. Moreover, the method of dual-use in one field can maximize the role of the field!

Matters needing attention in shrimp breeding in paddy field

1. The stocking time of shrimp species. When rice is harvested, shrimp seeds should be put into water immediately. The release time is generally late September. The harvest of rice in prawn cultivation paddy field should be mechanical harvest. This is because machine cutting is fast harvest, conducive to seize the time to cast shrimp seeds early;

Second, it is beneficial to return rice straw to the field, threshing with cutting by machine, and spreading rice straw evenly in the rice field, which is beneficial to the development of crayfish in the rice field;

Third, the height of mechanical stubble cutting is relatively consistent (40-50), which is conducive to controlling the depth of water storage in rice fields.

When rice is harvested, water should be added immediately. The irrigation depth is about 30cm. When entering water, apply dense net filtration to prevent harmful organisms from entering. Shrimp seeds should be put in time after water storage in rice fields.

stocking density and feeding method of shrimp

1. stocking density of shrimp species: crayfish in paddy field can be stocked with shrimp species of different specifications;

(1) directly stocking parent crayfish in paddy field and allowing the parent crayfish to reproduce by itself; according to the actual conditions of paddy field cultivation, if the paddy field is cultivated for more than one year in the first year, each parent shrimp of about 30g can be put into 15 - 25kg/mu; if the paddy field is cultivated for more than one year, only 10- 20kg/mu of the parent shrimp of the above specification is needed;

(2) directly stocking juvenile crayfish purchased from the market or caught artificially, with the general specification of 250-600 crayfish per kilogram. If it is cultivated in the first year, 10,000 - 15,000 crayfish are put into each mu; if it is cultivated for more than one year, 0.8- 10,000 crayfish are put into each mu;

3. The shrimp seedlings artificially propagated in the current year are generally 2 - 3cm in size and 1 - 2g in weight. If the shrimp cultivation field is the first year, 15 - 25,000 shrimp are bred per mu. If the rice field is cultivated for more than one year, 1- 15,000 shrimp are put per mu.

2. Shrimp species feeding method: When crayfish is stocked, pay attention to the quality of shrimp species, and at the same time, the same field should be stocked with shrimp species of the same specification. Because of the body surface damage of individual crayfish in different degrees, it should be disinfected before being put into stock. For shrimp species purchased from other places, due to the long time out of water during dry transportation, some shrimps even appear coma phenomenon. Before stocking, shrimp species should be soaked in rice field for 1 minute, lifted and placed for 2-3 minutes, then soaked for 1 minute. Repeat this for 2-3 times, so that shrimp species can absorb enough water from body surface and gill cavity before stocking, which can effectively improve the survival rate of shrimp species.

Matters needing attention in shrimp breeding

After rice harvest, chickens, ducks, cattle and other livestock should be strictly prohibited from entering the rice field to ensure that rich food is preserved in the rice field and to prevent germs from entering the rice field.

2. Try to plant seeds early. Once the rice is ripe, it should be harvested in time, irrigated in time, and put in time. If it is the rice field for shrimp cultivation in the first year, due to the time required for rice field reconstruction, the putting time may be delayed. Therefore, it is not suitable to put in parent shrimp species, but it is appropriate to put in juvenile shrimp or juvenile shrimp.

3. Shrimp species should not be too concentrated, and should be evenly distributed in rice fields to avoid severe hypoxia in local water bodies and cause asphyxia and death of shrimp species.

4, the release time should be selected in the morning and evening or rainy days to avoid strong sunlight and high temperature release.

Shrimp growth environment

Shrimp swimming and fish are very different, fish swing tail fin can swim forward, and shrimp does not have fish like tail fin, only a tail and many calves, so how does it swim? Shrimp also has its "high tricks." Shrimp is an expert swimmer and can swim long distances on its legs. As he swam, his swimming feet paddled back as neatly as wooden oars, and his body slowly moved forward. Frightened, its abdomen agile flexion and extension, tail downward front row, can continue to jump backward, speed is very fast. Also some shrimp are not good at swimming, big lobster most of the time in the seabed on the gravel crawling.

The gill of prawn is located in the gill chamber formed on both sides of dorsal carapace, and the front and rear of gill chamber and ventral surface are communicated with the outside world. Gills are mostly feathery, a total of 25 pairs, born in the chest wall or chest limb base, skin is very thin, blood flow through the gills when gas exchange. The branchial chamber has a jaw boat piece that swings continuously, so that fresh water enters from the back and ventral surface and flows out forward. The circulation system is open pipe. The heart is a flat polygonal muscular sac located in the pericardial sinus on the dorsal side of the head and chest. There are 4 pairs of cardiac orifices, two pairs on the dorsal side, one pair on both sides of the posterior end, and the other pair on the ventral side near the posterior end of the heart. There are valves to control the blood flow.

Although the technology of raising shrimp in rice fields is very mature and everyone can use it with confidence, there are still many places to pay attention to. We should try our best to avoid unnecessary risks in the process of breeding in order to maximize profits and create more wealth with the least effort!
