The listing price of Monopterus Albus in winter is several times higher than that in summer, so now is the best time for Monopterus Albus to go on the market. It is very difficult to catch ricefield eel in winter, and most breeders use the method of digging mud in the whole pond to catch eel, which is labor-intensive, easy to be damaged, takes a long time to catch eel, and destroys the ecological structure of eel pond carrier, which is harmful to the production of the second year. Here are two fast and safe trapping methods for your reference.

Straw mat trapping method. Prepare to lure eels before draining the pool. Soak the thicker new straw mats or straw bags with 5% quicklime aqueous solution for 24 hours and then leave them for 2 days. Spread the straw mat into the bottom of the mud ditch of the eel pond, spread sterilized straw (or wheat straw) about 5 cm thick on the straw mat, spread a second layer of straw mat on top of the straw mat, and then spread a layer of dry straw about 10 cm thick on the straw mat. When the water temperature drops below L3 ℃, gradually discharge water to 6 cm deep; when the water temperature drops to 8 ℃ ~ 10 ℃, cover the top of the mud ditch with a layer of straw about 20 cm thick; when the water temperature drops obviously, drain the pool water thoroughly. At this time, due to the "inversion layer effect" of the rice straw layer, the temperature of the rice straw layer is higher than that of the mud layer, and the mud ridge is exposed in the cold air for a long time, which can effectively introduce the rice field eel under the straw mat and between the two straw mats.

Note: ① this method can ensure that the yellow eel group lives between the grass and mud for a long time and will not escape. If it needs to be kept until the severe winter, it should be further covered with insulation according to the freezing condition. When ② collects ricefield eel, do not remove the straw at once, remove as much as you should collect. First put a plastic film on the side, and then remove the hay. When uncovering the grass, if there are more eels in the wet grass, the wet grass together with the straw mat can be carried on the plastic film for cleaning. The effect of this method is excellent and it is suitable for mass fishing.

Fermentation pit trapping method. Dig a pit about 30 centimeters deep in the corner of the pond in advance, and put an appropriate amount of fermented straw in the pit.

Preparation method: the sterilized and alkali-treated semi-dry straw is mixed with starch adhesive (can also be replaced by rice soup) to spread evenly. After 1 hour and 2 hours, the yeast ingredients (yeast formula: wheat bran 20%, dried cow dung 30%, yellow powder insect excrement 30%, distiller's grains 20%) are fully mixed and sprinkled into the straw, sprinkled with forks, so that the yeast ingredients can adhere evenly to the straw. Fill the above straw into the pit, gradually put into the pool water, and then cover with a thick layer of dried straw. In this way, the straw in the pit will generate a lot of heat within a few days. In order to make the straw ferment slowly and control the temperature (generally higher than the temperature under the mud, it is better not to exceed 15 ℃, if the temperature has reached 15 ℃, the temperature of the straw in the pit can be 2 ℃ ~ 3 ℃ higher than the temperature), a part of the dried straw covered on the surface can be removed when the temperature is too high, and some dried straw can be added when the temperature is too low.

Note: when ① takes eels, a batch of ricefield eels can be obtained as long as part of the straw is taken out of the pit. This method is flexible and simple, and can be used repeatedly in winter. ② conditional can put a self-controlled electric heater in the straw, the effect is better. The electric heater can also be directly connected to the water to heat the eel, and the effect is very ideal.
