Bronchopneumonia is also called lobular pneumonia. All kinds of livestock are common, and young and old animals are more common. Clinically, it is characterized by the appearance of relaxation heat type, increased frequency of breathing and twisted pronunciation in auscultation.

[reason]

When hunger, overwork, cold stimulation or inhaling irritating gases reduce the body resistance, pneumococci and various pathogenic microorganisms take advantage of the opportunity to develop and reproduce, causing the disease. Bronchopneumonia can also be secondary to adenosis, gangrene, colds and other diseases.

[symptoms]

The main results are as follows: (1) the systemic changes show the symptoms of bronchitis at the beginning, but the systemic symptoms are more serious. The spirit of the sick animal is depressed, conjunctival flushing or cyanosis, the pulse is accelerated, 60 to 100 beats per minute, and the superficial increase in breathing can reach 40 to 100 beats per minute. The degree of dyspnea varies with the size of the inflamed area. The body temperature rose to more than 40 ℃ within 2-3 days after onset, and most of them showed relaxation fever later. Individual sick animals with extremely weak physique may not necessarily have a higher body temperature. The number of white blood cells increased and the nucleus moved to the left.

(2) when the chest auscultation is at the focus site, the alveolar respiratory sound weakens at the beginning of the disease, and twirling sounds can be heard. Later, when the alveoli and bronchioles are completely filled with exudates, the alveolar respiratory sounds disappear; because of the different characteristics of inflammatory exudates, dry or wet sounds can be heard as the air flows through the bronchial cavity of the inflamed site. In the lungs of the health department, alveolar breathing sounds are enhanced as a result of compensatory breathing.

[treatment]

(1) Sulfonamides and antibiotics are commonly used to eliminate inflammation. The commonly used sulfonamide preparation is sulfadiazine. The commonly used antibiotics are penicillin 1 million ~ 2 million units intramuscularly, once every 8 to 12 hours. For seriously ill horses, penicillin 1 million units can be added to compound sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose saline within 500ml, after dissolution, slow intravenous injection, the effect is significant. Broad-spectrum antibiotics such as oxytetracycline can also be selected.

(2) to stop exudation and promote the absorption of inflammatory exudates, 50100 ml of 10% calcium chloride can be injected intravenously, once a day. Or intravenous injection of calcium gluconate solution 200 ml.

(3) symptomatic treatment in order to enhance cardiac function and improve blood circulation, cardiotonic agents can be selected appropriately, such as an sodium caffeine solution, camphor water, Qiangerxin liquid and so on.
