1. Fattening technology of meat ducklings.

The fattening of meat ducks is mainly to artificially force ducks to swallow a large amount of high-energy feed to make them gain weight and accumulate fat quickly in a short period of time. When the duck's weight reaches 1.5 to 1.75 kilograms, the fattening period is usually about 2 weeks. The protein content in the early feed was high, and the crude fiber was also slightly higher, while the crude protein content and crude fiber in the later feed was slightly lower, but the energy was higher than that of the previous material. This is mainly due to the fact that ducklings need higher protein in the early growth and development, while higher energy is needed in the later stage to increase body fat and speed up the weight gain in the later stage. Before fattening begins, divide the ducks into groups according to their male, female and body weight in order to grasp the amount of feeding. Generally, they are fed 3 to 4 times a day, each time at equal intervals, each feeding for about a week.

two。 Fill in the feeding method.

Before filling and feeding, adjust the stuffing into a dry paste with water and rub it with hands to grow about 5 cm, 1.5 cm thick and 25 grams. When filling and feeding, the filling and feeding personnel hold the duck's head with their legs, hold the duck's beak open with the thumb and index finger, press the front end of the tongue with the middle finger, take the agent in the right hand, dip the water into the duck's esophagus, and squeeze it down from top to bottom with their hands to make it enter the enlarged part of the esophagus. Fill it 3 times a day, 4 doses each time, and then increase gradually. In the later stage, 810 doses can be filled at a time. The filling machine can also be used to fill and feed. 3-4 hours before filling and feeding, the filler will be mixed with water to form a semi-fluid slurry, and the ratio of water to material is 6:4. Soften the feed, but in summer to prevent the feed from mildew and deterioration, generally fill 4 times a day, each time the wet material is: 1500g on the first day, 175g on the 2nd to 3rd day, 200g on the 4th to 5th day, 225g on the 6th to 7th day, 275g on the 8th to 9th day, 325g on the 10th to 11th day, 400g on the 12th to 13th day, and 450g on the 14th day. If the duck has a good appetite, it can be filled more and should be flexibly mastered according to the situation. When filling and feeding, put the pulpy feed into the bucket of the filling machine, the feeder catches the duck with his left hand, holds the back of the duck's head with the palm, holds the duck's upper and lower beak with his thumb and index finger, presses the front end of the duck tongue with the middle finger, gently grips the dilated part of the esophagus with his right hand, sends the duck's bill to the filling hose, and sends the hose into the lower pharynx of the duck, so that the hose and the duck body are in the same straight line, so that the esophagus will not be damaged. After inserting the tube, step on the clutch with the left foot, and the machine automatically presses the feed into the esophagus. After filling the material, release the switch and withdraw the hose from the duck's beak. When filling and feeding, the duck should be flat, the mouth should be opened quickly, the tongue should be pressed accurately, the intubation should be suitable, the food should be slow, and the duck should be sprinkled quickly. Although the filling is fixed and quantitative, it also depends on the digestion after filling and feeding. It was also observed that the recess in the inflated part of the esophagus of the duck one hour before feeding was normal digestion. It appeared earlier than 1 hour before filling, indicating that there was too little food.

3. Management of fattening period.

The action should be light when filling and feeding, properly release water after each filling and feeding, clean the duck body to help digestion and promote the growth of feathers; drive the ducks around every 2-3 hours to facilitate digestion, but not roughly drive them away; the ground in the house and the playground should be smooth to prevent ducks from falling and injured; keep the house dry, pay attention to summer heat prevention and cooling in summer, and set up an awning in the playground to provide clean drinking water every day. Fill less during the day and more at night, so that ducks can sleep on the playground; the density of ducks is 2.5 birds per square meter in the early stage, and 2.5 ducks per square meter in the later stage; always keep the environment of the duck house quiet, reduce stress, and idle people are not allowed to enter; generally, after about 2 weeks of fattening, the weight is more than 2.5 kg can be sold on the market.
