White head and white mouth disease is one of the serious diseases that harm summer flower fish species (grass carp, herring, silver carp, common carp, etc.). It can cause thousands of summer flower fish species to die in one day, and wild miscellaneous fish and even tadpoles in seriously diseased ponds can also be infected and killed.

(1) Prevention.

In the primary stocking stage of ① fry, a reasonable stocking density of about 225 fry per square meter should be adopted to prevent the occurrence of the disease.

② keeps the water clean, has adequate and palatable food, and does not release manure that has not been fully fermented.

③ fish fry should be soaked in 2% salt solution for 10-15 minutes before release.

(2) treatment.

① rhubarb. Sprinkle the whole pond with the final concentration of 2.5-3.7 mg / L water. Before use, soak at room temperature for 12-24 hours with 20 kg of 0.3% ammonia per kilogram of rhubarb (containing 25% of ammonia 28%). After diluting the solution and residue with pool water, sprinkle the whole pool evenly.

The mixture of ② rhubarb and copper sulfate. Rhubarb 1.0-1.5 mg / L, the preparation method is the same as above; copper sulfate 0.5 mg / L, respectively, made into solution, sprinkled throughout the pool.

③ sebiferum leaves. Sprinkle the whole pond with the final concentration of 2.5-3.7 mg / L water. Before use, add 20 kg of dried Sapium sebiferum leaf powder plus 2% quicklime solution, soak at room temperature for about 12 hours, boil for 10 minutes, dilute and sprinkle the whole pool with pool water.

④ erythromycin. Sprinkle the whole pool with the final concentration of 0.05-0.07 mg / L.
