The basic knowledge of breeding and management of fly maggots
Breeding and reproduction of flies: flies should be kept in fly houses. The size of the fly room, according to the need to build, can also be used to modify the old room, doors and windows installed glass and screens, in order to adjust the temperature, installed fans on the wall to adjust the air. There should be heating equipment in the room to keep the winter temperature at 20-23℃ and the relative humidity in the room at 60%-70%. Black curtains are installed on the passages to prevent flies from escaping. Room equipped with feeding rack, divided into upper, middle and lower three layers. The feeding rack is made of iron or wood. Fly cages made of nylon gauze nets are placed on each shelf, the cage length is 100 cm and the height is 80 cm. The breeding flies are kept in the cages. 12,000 flies are raised in each cage. Each cage is equipped with cloth sleeves for feeding, adding water and collecting eggs. 12,000 adult flies are fed 20 grams of milk powder every day. The feed is placed in a material basin with gauze pad surface, so that the adult flies can stand on gauze to suck. Feed and water were changed daily. Put gauze into the water basin, put wet wheat husk into the egg laying bag for flies to lay eggs, take eggs once a day in the fly breeding cage, and send them to the maggot room for breeding maggots. The number of eggs laid by seed flies was the highest from 8 am to 3 pm every day, and the time of egg collection should be appropriate. Each batch of flies can be eliminated after 15-20 days of breeding, killed by hot water or steam, dried and ground into livestock feed, and then replaced with another batch.
In the production of maggots at the same time, maggots pupate, as a new fly species, there are two ways: one is to let it naturally pupate, wash out the fly pupae with water; the other is when it is raised to about 5-6 days yellow, take out the maggots and put them in dry powder to promote pupation.
Maggot culture: maggot culture can be brick side height of 20 cm, area of 1-3 square meters of maggot breeding pool, or bamboo frame with plastic plate breeding maggot, a diameter of 50 cm plastic plate can breed maggot 1.5 kg only 3 kg wheat husk, breeding 3-4 days can be collected and utilized, maggot breeding materials have a wide source, different maggot materials have high or low cost, can be reasonably selected. Wheat husk nutrition is higher, the price is also slightly higher, generally used to breed flies rent, low-cost wine trough, bean dregs and so on can be used as commodity maggot material. If wheat husk is used as maggot feed, generally 1 kg wheat husk can produce 0.5 kg maggots. When using, water should be added to shake evenly. The humidity should be squeezed by hand. It is appropriate to disperse when touched (moisture content 60%-65%). If you use wine tank, bean dregs and other semi-dry and wet materials, do not need to add water to culture when using. Specific maggot breeding operation method: eggs and wheat husk material into the plate, add wine trough, bean dregs or wheat husk maggot material, slightly mixed can be. Note that fly eggs should not be exposed on the surface of maggots, so as not to lose water and lose vitality. The thickness of maggot material is based on the standard that the fermentation temperature in maggot material is not higher than 40℃ and not lower than 20℃, generally 5-10 cm. The maggot material should be thinner in summer when the temperature is high, and thicker in winter when the temperature is low. If human and livestock manure is to be used after killing bacteria and parasites, the ratio of feed to sister, for example, chicken manure generally 3.5-4 kg to produce 0.5 kg fresh maggots. No matter what kind of raw material is used to raise maggots, the humidity of maggots should be controlled at 60%-65%.

Key points of feeding and management of high-quality and efficient culture of scorpion
1. Separation of mother and child scorpion when the 2-year-old scorpion leaves behind the mother scorpion, the size separation should be carried out in time. This is because: first, female scorpions consume a lot of physical strength during childbirth, lose more body fluids, are weak, and are in urgent need of foraging and replenishment. If they are not separated, female scorpions will be short of water and food.
