In order to shorten the feeding period of meat ducks, promote early fattening, improve the fatness of meat ducks, and make the meat of meat ducks delicious and tender, when ducks are reared for 50 ~ 65 days, they have certain skeletons and muscles, and when they grow at the fastest speed, it is necessary to carry out intensity fattening. The formula feed of "high energy and low protein" should be used during fattening.

⑴ fattened on its own food. Mix the feed with water and leave it for 3 to 4 hours to be fed after fermentation. Four times a day, replenish it once more at night, feed while supplying water, and then put the duck into the water to take a bath. The light of the duck house should be dark, and the duck farm should be clean and well ventilated.

⑵ column fattening. Separate the bamboo into small columns, each containing 2 or 3 ducks. The area of the small column should not be more than 2 times that of the duck, and the height should be 45cm to 55cm. It is suitable for the duck to stand. Water fountains and troughs are set outside the column to let the duck stick its head out to eat and drink. Feed supply should be adequate, 3 times during the day and 1 time at night.

⑶ was fed with fattening. Mix the feed with warm water and make it into a strip with a length of 1 cm to 5 cm. Cool it slightly and fill it in manually. At the beginning, it was fed 3 times a day, 3-4 strips each time, and then gradually increased to 5-6 times, 5-8 strips each time. After filling and feeding, provide enough water and take a 30-minute water bath every day to facilitate digestion.

The fattening period is generally 10-15 days. When the meat duck weighs 2 to 3 kilograms, the fat is thickened under the skin and the root of the wing feather is transparent.
