1. Adjust the flock in time

At the age of about 200 days, the chickens with atrophy of crown, contraction of pubic bone, tightening of feathers, dry skin of legs, thin chest muscles and penguin-like abdomen were eliminated. It can save feed and increase the laying rate, prevent the spread of other diseases and reduce the frequency of drug administration.

2. Increase feed energy

In winter, we should appropriately increase the energy in the feed and add more high-energy feed, such as grease, corn and so on. Some chicken farms (households) make their own ingredients and always use a formula. At the same time, because the content of ingredients is also different from different sources of raw materials, such as high or low protein, energy, minerals, etc., there are normal or abnormal feeding, and the egg production rate decreases in varying degrees, soft eggs, thin preserved eggs and so on. Some chickens have no peak at all, and then there are crown atrophy, pubic contraction and so on. It is suggested that it is best to use reasonable full-price material and add some energy feed appropriately.

3. Keep the chicken coop at a moderate temperature

The range of temperature required for laying hens is 8: 27 ℃, and the most suitable temperature is 13-24 ℃. Too high or too low temperature is not conducive to egg production. Every increase or decrease of 1 ℃ will reduce egg production by 1%. If the outside temperature is low in winter, the temperature of the chicken house should be raised, and heat preservation measures can be taken, such as lighting the stove and blocking the windows on the north side of the chicken coop, which should be kept above 8 ℃.

4. Keep the light constant

Light plays a decisive role in sexual maturation, ovulation and egg laying of chickens, and it is generally required to keep light for 16 hours a day during the laying period. The light can be increased to 17 hours 4 weeks before chicken elimination, and the optimum light intensity is 5 lux. The sunshine is short in winter, and the lights should be turned on in time to supplement the light on cloudy and foggy days. To prevent the light bulb from getting dirty, the light intensity should be weakened and the light should be uniform as far as possible.

5. Maintain proper humidity

The required humidity range for laying hens is 50%-70%, and the optimum humidity is 60%-65%. Too low humidity is easy to cause chicken body dehydration and cause respiratory diseases; too high humidity, often make the chicken house air dirty, and easy to cause a variety of diseases. The relative humidity in the house is high in winter, so the humidity must be adjusted on the basis of maintaining temperature. Usually through the control of temperature to adjust humidity, in order to improve egg production.

6. Don't forget to ventilate

The chicken house is tightly sealed in winter, and a large number of harmful gases are produced (H2S, NH3, CO2), which can induce chronic respiratory disease, transmission branch, throat, rhinitis, colibacillosis and so on. The skylight should be properly opened for ventilation or an exhaust fan should be set up every day to prevent the attack of thief wind. Do a good job of environmental disinfection, disinfectants are used alternately, such as Sujie, Qiandu to prevent the spread of all kinds of viruses and bacteria.

7. rational administration of drugs to prevent diseases

Do not blindly use the vaccine, do not increase the multiple of vaccine use at will, so as not to cause immune failure or immune paralysis, and avoid the occurrence of atypical Newcastle disease. When the disease should be treated in time, so as not to increase the death rate and increase drug investment and so on. After the beginning of winter, choose highly sensitive drugs for colibacillosis and staphylococcosis in order to control the disease in time and prevent secondary infection of more serious diseases such as mycoplasma, Newcastle disease and bird flu, so as to avoid a decline in egg laying rate.

8. Minimize stress

The building of the chicken coop is strong to prevent the loud noise caused by the strong wind, and to avoid the entry of dogs, cats, rats and birds. In the case of stress, 0.02%-0.04% vitamin C can be added to the feed, while Weili is used to drink water.

9. Supply clean drinking water

Water is a necessary nutrient for chicken growth and development, egg laying and health, and participates in the whole metabolic process of the body. The amount of drinking water varies with different seasons, generally twice the feed intake in winter; insufficient drinking water can reduce egg production by 2% to 10%, and egg weight is reduced; drinking fountains should be cleaned every day to ensure good water quality and create a high-yield drinking water environment.
