With the vigorous development of sea cucumber aquaculture in China, many successful examples have been achieved in sea cucumber culture in northern ponds. In order to improve the technical level and economic benefits of sea cucumber culture, the high yield technology of sea cucumber pond culture is recommended for your reference.

First, to build a ginseng pond.

Make use of the local geographical advantages in the mid-tide zone or low-tide zone, preferably the bottom of the reef, use concrete and stones to besiege the shape of the city, ponds of different sizes, windy sea area walls should be thickened and strengthened; when neap tide, ensure that the water storage is not less than 1.5m, and do not leak; the selected sea area shall not be polluted, especially oil pollution; salinity should not be less than 28/1000, no river injection; the cost of the pond is too high. A shrimp culture pond, preferably sediment, can also be transformed into a sea cucumber culture pond. Each of the aquaculture ponds is left with a drainage gate, and the replacement of sea water in this pond is best dependent on natural tide. The daily water exchange is not less than 30%, and the average water depth in the pond is more than 1.5m. The advantage of this pond is that even if it is observed and managed and the cost is low, it is not easy to culture sea cucumbers in the ponds where the bottom water temperature is more than 20 degrees Celsius and more than 3 months in summer.

Second release artificial sea cucumber reef

The purpose of building artificial sea cucumber reef is to provide a hiding place for sea cucumber, and to breed a large number of seaweed and water plants for sea cucumber habitat, feeding and summer dormancy, so artificial sea cucumber reef must be put into the modified shrimp pond. The materials of artificial sea cucumber reefs can be tiles, bricks, abandoned scallop cages, concrete blocks, or even larger stones of different shapes are also good reefs; the arrangement of ginseng reefs is based on the principle of increasing the concealment space of sea cucumbers as much as possible, and can be placed in rows or piles; the more the reefs are put according to the actual conditions, the better; the reefs can be made with tiles, stones, fruit frames or hollow bricks, as follows:

1. Tile reef: use red tiles for building, every three as a group, the long edges of the three tiles are connected in turn to form a triangular prism, and the prism is fastened with string. This prism is used to pile several reefs at the bottom of the pond, the distance between the reefs is 35 meters, and about 2500 tiles are used per mu. The reef pile consists of two layers of prisms, each of which is divided into two rows of north and south, with 59 prisms in each row in the lower layer, 48 prisms in the upper layer (staggered stacking), and tiles in the upper layer. In this way, from south to north, the whole edge pile is made up of several triangular spaces.

two。 Stone reef: each reef uses 0.8Mel 1.0 cubic meters of stone, leaving as many gaps as possible, and the reef spacing is 4Mel 5m.

3. Fruit frame reef: each reef is composed of three fruit frames, two at the bottom and one at the top, and tied with string. The mouth of the basket faces north and stones are pressed into the basket to prevent the fruit frame from moving.

4. Hollow brick to build a reef: the method is the same as the tile.

For the pond that has been put into the ginseng reef, it is best to clear the pond before releasing seedlings to kill the enemy and pathogenic bacteria. Usually sprinkle the whole pond with 10ppm tea seed cake and 20ppm bleach for one day, then wash the pond for 2-3 times before use. After disinfection, the ginseng pond was filled with water and fertilized for 10-15 days to cultivate basic biological bait.

Transportation of Panax ginseng seedlings

Ginseng seedlings are usually transported by wet method and dry method. The so-called wet transportation is to transport ginseng seedlings in canvas buckets, each barrel containing about 300 ginseng seedlings, adding water about 0.2 cubic body of water. The so-called dry transportation is to put the ginseng seedlings in the plastic turnover box, the bottom of the box is laid with 2cm thick skimmed cotton, two layers of gauze are laid on the top, soaked with sea water, the ginseng seedlings are evenly laid, and then covered with 4 layers of wet gauze, and then the plastic turnover boxes are stacked one by one, and the outside is covered with plastic sheeting to protect the wind. When the weather is cold, the outer layer is insulated with foamed plastic. If the weather is hot and dry, the road should be properly sprayed with sea water.
