Selection of breeding site for breeding masked palm civet

The selection of masked palm civet breeding site should pay attention to the following five aspects:

(1) the environment of the Huaguoshan style masked palm civet farm should simulate its wild environment and plant fruit trees, trees and shrubs, so that the flowers and fruits in the masked palm civet farm should be more than 300m away from residential areas and traffic roads, so that the farm has a quiet environment.

(3) there is an adequate supply of high-quality water resources. The water consumption of the masked palm civet breeding farm is relatively large, and the site must consider the water source condition. First, the amount of water is sufficient to meet the water demand of the beaver farm. Second, the water quality is good, and it has been proved that the water is not polluted, and the water quality conforms to the national water quality standards for human and animal use. Where there is no high-quality water source, it is not suitable to build masked palm civet farm.

(4) for epidemic prevention, masked palm civet farms should be kept away from residential areas and marshes, and should not be selected near the downwind of chemical plants, pesticide factories, paper mills and slaughterhouses. The beaver house should build a fence to facilitate closed management and epidemic prevention and isolation. therefore, it is necessary to have topographical conditions that facilitate the construction of the fence.

(5) the soil is solid and many infectious diseases that pollute dogs without pathogens can be passed on to masked palm civet. Wherever malignant infectious diseases of dogs have occurred, do not build masked palm civet farms. In the place where the beaver house is built, it is necessary to examine the properties of the soil. Sandy loam is the best, which is not only solid, but also permeable, and the road will not be muddy on rainy days.
