Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The main pathogens were Fusarium oxysporum (Fusariumsolani), Fusarium oxysporum (F.oxysporum), Fusarium oxysporum (F.tricinctum) and Fusarium graminearum (F.gramincarum). The mycelium is filamentous branched and often segregated. The mode of reproduction is to form large conidia and small spores.

(1)Fusarium solani, F.oxysporum, F.tricinctum and F. graminearum were the pathogens. Thalli are filamentous branches, often separated. The reproductive mode is to form megaspores, microspores and pachyspores. The megaspores are sickle-shaped, hence the name Fusarium.

(2)Symptom Fusarium parasitizes in the tissues of head, chest, gill, appendages, body wall and eyeball of diseased shrimp, and the tissues of parasitized places have melanin precipitation and are black. Parasitism in the gills caused by gills tissue necrosis and blackening. Some people call it "black gill disease."

(3)Diagnosis Because the main symptoms of fusarium disease are often similar to brown spot disease and black gill disease caused by bacteria, samples must be taken from the focus for observation under a microscope. If hyphae and conidia are found, the diagnosis can be made.

(4)Epidemic Situation This disease is a kind of prawn, crab kind harm very big disease. All kinds of prawns, lobsters and crabs can be infected in seawater, the infection rate is as high as 70%, and the accumulated mortality rate is 90%(such as California prawns). At present, it mainly occurs in artificial overwintering parent shrimp in China. Shrimp disease control period rarely seen.

(5)Control ① Disinfection treatment with 6.0× 0.00001 sodium dichloroisocyanurate before stocking can effectively kill conidia in the pond. (2) Wash the parent shrimp with 300× 0.00001 potassium permanganate for 5 minutes before entering the overwintering pond, and prevent the shrimp from being injured. (3) The parent shrimp was cultured in disinfected and filtered water without Fusarium contamination.
