When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, the feeding decreases and the growth rate slows down, thus prolonging the hatching period of eggs and the Eclosion period of pupae. In order to maintain the growth and reproduction rate of Tenebrio Molitor and to meet the feed needs of livestock, poultry and frogs, the method of heating feeding should be adopted. There are many ways to heat up, and it is more economical, safe and reliable to set up an electric temperature frame in the area with electricity. The method of setting the electric temperature rack is as follows.

1. The size of the electric heating frame can be determined according to the size of the worm box. For example, the bottom area of the worm box is 45 × 33 cm, and an electric temperature frame with a height of 2 meters, a width of 1.5 meters and a depth of 0.5 meters can be set up. A partition is arranged 10 centimeters above the ground on the shelf, the top of the shelf is sealed with wood or other insulation, and one or two partitions are arranged in the middle of the shelf. The rectangular worm box can be crossed on each partition.

2. The electric blanket can be made according to the size of the electric temperature rack, which is 4.5 meters long and 2 meters wide. During production, the cotton cloth is spliced according to the required size, and then the electric hotline is arranged on the cotton cloth and stitched together. When wiring, the hot line is parallel to the long side of the cloth, and the line distance is 3-4 cm at the beginning, gradually from dense to sparse. When you get to the other side of the cloth, the line distance is more than 100 cm, and the two ends of the cloth are left 25 cm unwired. The lead wire of the electric hot line, through the porcelain joint, is connected to the temperature regulating switch (250 watts in the middle, 500 watts in the high grade). To make such an electric blanket, an electric hotline of about 150 meters is used.

3. The upper shelf of the blanket surrounds the electric blanket on the electric temperature rack, with the dense side of the electric hot wire on the bottom and the thin side on the top (according to the rising principle of hot air, the temperature of each layer in the electric heating frame can be roughly similar). The top of the electric blanket is nailed to the top plate of the electric heating frame from the outside, and the two ends of the electric heating blanket are coincident in the middle of the front of the electric heating frame to form a door. When nailed, it's like a mosquito net.

4. Adjust the temperature, put a thermometer on each partition in the electric temperature frame, control the temperature at any time, adjust the temperature with the temperature regulating switch, use the middle grade above 10 ℃, and use the high grade below 10 ℃. In addition, the temperature can be adjusted by other methods. For example, in the electric heating blanket enclosure on the bottom partition of the electric heating frame, the top layer of the electric heating frame, adding or removing insulation, closing or opening the door of the electric heating blanket, etc., adjust the temperature and keep the temperature in the frame about 25 ℃ to ensure the normal growth and reproduction of insects. In a word, the overwintering feeding management of Tenebrio Molitor is basically the same as the general routine feeding management, as long as we should pay attention to heat preservation. For management needs, when taking the bug box out of the electric temperature rack, take out one box to deal with one box, and operate quickly, so as not to freeze to death. Raising Tenebrio Molitor according to the above method, the hatching rate of eggs, the survival rate of larvae and the survival rate of pupa can all reach 90%, the hatching rate of high-quality spawning insects can reach 60%, and each pair of adults can lay 200 eggs. Each adult can proliferate by 43.65 times within 4 months. According to the staple food bran and fine bran of Tenebrio Molitor, it can produce 1 kg for every 3 kg of bran or fine bran, and the cost of feeding vegetable leaves and melon peel is not high. If it is raised and used by itself, the feed cost of raising Tenebrio Molitor can be greatly reduced. Those who first raise Tenebrio Molitor can only buy seeds from other places, and generally buy large larvae as seeds. During transportation, it is necessary to maintain ventilation and prevent escape. It is best to pack the worms in a cloth bag without holes, bind the mouth tightly after loading, and then ship it in the basket. Summer transportation can only be carried out when the weather is cool, and there should not be too many worms in the bag. The pupae can be transported in an open container, while the egg transfer paper can be wrapped together with the remaining materials and shipped together.
