The estrous cycle of adult bitches is irregular. Affected by season, environment, feed structure, physique and many other factors, bitches generally give birth to one and a half to two babies a year. By mastering the technique of artificially induced estrus, most bitches can give birth to two to two and a half babies a year, and four to five litters in two years. Artificially induced estrus belongs to natural estrus, which has higher conception rate, stronger puppy and higher survival rate than hormone induced estrus. The main technical points are as follows:

First, match more male dogs as appropriate.

Appropriate allocation of a few more male dogs, increase the range of contact with the female group, enhance the stimulation and induction of the female dog, which is of great benefit to the female dog in early estrus ovulation, generally four to five bitches with a male dog is more appropriate.

Second, shorten the distance between male and female dogs.

Dogs in estrus rely on their sense of smell to identify and stimulate the brain and form conditioned reflexes, so the closer the distance between the male dog and the female dog, the better. It is best to build a large circle opposite to the twin buildings, with a working path in the middle, with the bitch on one side and the male dog on the other, so that the male and female dogs can often see each other and smell each other. In this way, both male and female dogs are full of libido and estrus. If there is only a single-family enclosure, you can put a male dog at an interval of three or four bitches. Do not put all the bitches on one end and the male dogs on the other.

Third, set up breeding sites scientifically.

In principle, the setting of the breeding site should not be too far away, and it is appropriate to be close to the bitch. when a bitch is in estrus and mating, other non-estrus bitches can also see this kind of mating activity. the performance of restlessness, howling, noisy circles, loss of appetite, if stimulated several times in a row, most bitches will soon show estrus.

Fourth, early release for compulsory mating.

Take compulsory measures for individual female dogs who are slow in estrus, that is, put them in the male dog circle for about half an hour of exercise every day, so that the male dog can be intimate, chase, and climb across the bitch, at least for three or five days, or more than ten days, until the bitch can ovulate in estrus and accept mating smoothly.
