In the process of dairy farming, farmers often use all kinds of local grass, vegetables, agricultural by-products and industrial by-products as feed, which sometimes lead to cow disease, reduce milk yield and quality, and even lead to cow death, affecting the development of cattle industry. In this paper, the prevention and treatment of dairy cow disease caused by feed are introduced as follows:

Mildew corn was fed to dairy cows with moldy corn feed, which showed weakening or cessation of rumination, turbid cornea, yellow staining of mucous membrane, diarrhea, weight loss, some insanity, excitement and circle, resulting in fainting and death.

To prevent stored corn, the water content should be controlled below 12.5%. For mildewed corn, the mildew can be removed by soaking in 10% quicklime solution and then used as feed.

Treatment immediately stop feeding moldy feed, add water to take 400g ~ 600g magnesium sulfate, intravenous injection of glucose saline 500ml ~ 1000 ml, 40% urotropine 50ml.

Cows sick with bad sweet potatoes feed on bad sweet potatoes containing mycotoxins, mental malaise, weakening or cessation of rumination, constipation, shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, coma, spasms, and death.

Prevent sweet potatoes from being infected with black spot and feed them to cows.

The treatment immediately stopped feeding bad sweet potato feed. You can mix raw mung beans and honey with 500g each for oral administration, or take it with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution 2000 ml, and take magnesium sulfate 400g ~ 600g when constipation. At the same time, 25% glucose 500ml ~ 1000 ml, 10% sodium coffee 10ml, 5% sodium bicarbonate 250ml ~ 500ml and other agents are injected intravenously.

Rotten Chinese cabbage and all kinds of weeds and wild vegetables contain nitrate, which will be oxidized to nitrite after stewing or heating and decay, and will be poisoned by cows after eating.

Prevent vegetable feed should generally be raw feed, do not feed rotten grass, green vegetables, need to be cooked herbs should be boiled and fed now, do not spend the night to prevent spoilage.

Patients with mild poisoning were treated with 5-7 egg whites or 500g milk, and severe dairy cows were injected intravenously with 1% 2% Meilan solution 150ml, 5% glucose 1000 ml, and 10% sodium coffee 20ml. It can also be filled with 8 ~ 10 bottles of blue and black ink mixed with 1.5 times water.

Lees poisoning contains acetic acid and alcohols, and it is easy to cause disease in dairy cows by feeding in large quantities. Symptoms are mental excitement, behavior instability, mucosal flushing, skin rash around the abdominal breast, constipation, dysentery alternately, accompanied by abdominal pain, paralysis, collapse and other symptoms.

Prevent and control the amount of distiller's grains, dry grains not more than 10%, fresh grains not more than 30%, forbid seriously moldy lees to feed cattle, mildew lees can be mixed with 1% lime water before feeding cattle.

Take 1% baking soda solution or soy milk water 1500 ml, intravenous injection 5% glucose 1500 ml, rinse the affected area with 1% potassium permanganate solution.

Sprouted potato disease-causing cows ate germinated potatoes or potato stems and leaves containing a lot of solanin, light ones weakened rumination, salivation, diarrhea, rash in the lower waist; severe cases stopped rumination, from agitation to depression, limb paralysis, spasms and convulsions to death.

Prevent feeding to remove sprouting, green and rotten parts, boil water loss, and feed with other feed, pregnant cows do not feed potatoes.

Treatment with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution gastric lavage, oral tannic acid 1000 ml, severe dairy cows intravenous injection of 5% glucose 1500 ml, 10% sodium coffee 10 ml.
