Prevention and treatment of common fetal diseases in farmed dairy cows
First, endometritis is an important cause of infertility in dairy cows, which can be divided into acute and chronic types. Cow production (including abortion, dystocia treatment) or mating is caused by the invasion of bacteria and other microorganisms. Brucellosis, trichomoniasis, unreasonable operation and drug stimulation will be the inducement.
Prevention and treatment: uterine flushing is an effective method for the treatment of chronic and acute inflammation. Drugs can choose normal saline, potassium permanganate, furacilin, Rivannur, chlorhexidine and other solutions, and then cooperate with the injection of antibiotics, such as penicillin, streptomycin, chlortetracycline and so on.
Second, the placenta can not be discharged more than 24 hours after delivery. It is often caused by many factors, such as lack of nutrition, over-feeding of thick feed, lack of exercise in cows, aging, excessive milking in the last fetus, poor health, endometritis in cows and so on.
Prevention and treatment: after the diagnosis by rectal examination, surgical exfoliation is often adopted for treatment. After surgical exfoliation, the uterus was washed for many times, and antibiotics such as oxytetracycline and tetracycline were injected into the uterus. In severe cases, antibiotics are also used to prevent systemic symptoms. When it cannot be surgically peeled off, hypertonic saline can be infused into the uterus to promote its self-separation and shedding.
Preterm delivery and abortion means that the gestation relationship between the embryo or fetus and the mother is destroyed, resulting in the interruption of pregnancy. Those who are interrupted within 210 days of pregnancy are called abortions, and those who are interrupted from 210 to 269 days of pregnancy are called preterm delivery. There are many reasons for general abortion (interruption of nutrition between mother and child, disturbance of reproductive hormone secretion, mechanical, toxicity, etc.) are mostly caused by improper feeding management or dietary nutrition imbalance.
Prevention and treatment: prevention should be carried out from the aspects of improving feeding and management, early detection and thorough treatment of diseased cattle, and reducing operational pollution (prenatal, postpartum and mating period). If it is found that there are signs of abortion in advance, drugs can be used to protect the fetus, such as progesterone, chloral hydrate and Chinese herbal medicine. If miscarriage has occurred, midwifery should be tried and uterine inflammation should be prevented.
Fourth, vaginal prolapse refers to vaginal wall relaxation, vaginal backward, so that the vestibule protruding in the vulva or vaginal all turned out. Muscle relaxation is mainly due to the lack of crude fiber in feed and the dysfunction of digestive organs and liver. Excessive slope of cow bed, too large fetus and poor midwifery can also cause relaxation of reproductive organs. When cattle lie down, part of the vagina protrudes outside the vulva, and exposure increases with the increase of gestational age, mostly due to tissue necrosis caused by vaginal mucosal inflammation, secondary systemic infection and long-term infertility.
Prevention and treatment: in the third trimester of pregnancy, the cow will be placed in front of the low and high bed to raise the hindquarters, reducing the pressure of the hindquarters can be alleviated. Often use drugs to wash the vulva to prevent inflammation. Baoding belt can be used to give Baoding when giving birth due to hard work, or surgical treatment can be carried out.
5. Follicular cyst refers to the degeneration of the unovulated follicular epithelium, the thickening of the follicular wall, the increase of follicular fluid and the enlargement of the follicular cavity. The imbalance of hormone secretion (the imbalance between follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone) caused by high-energy and high-protein diet, high nutrition level, lack of light, insufficient exercise, overweight cattle and so on, as well as the improper use of estrogen.
Prevention and treatment: the effect of early use of hormone is the best. Chorionic gonadotropin, luteinizing hormone or progesterone can be injected intravenously.

Prevention of abomasum displacement in dairy cows
Under normal circumstances, the true stomach of a cow is located on the right side of the abdominal cavity, and the left side is close to the rumen, but due to some internal or external reasons, the normal position of the true stomach is mutated, either below the rumen, or moved to the left side of the rumen. Can cause loss of appetite in dairy cows.
