In order to prevent the deterioration of the thrush feed, the following points must be paid attention to during the feed storage:

(1) proper preparation. When preparing thrush feed, the quantity should be determined according to the season and climate, the number of thrushes and the nature of the feed. Generally speaking, about one preparation is enough to eat for half a month to January. As the food intake of thrushes is very small, feed should be prepared regularly. If too much is prepared at one time, it is easy to mildew and deteriorate, steatosis, and the vitamins contained in the feed are easily oxidized and destroyed. If it is roasted repeatedly, it will also reduce its flavor and nutrition. Especially in the rainy season, it is most prone to mildew and insects, so the feed had better be fresh preparation and short-term use. In addition, do not adulterate too much each time, about enough to eat 3mi for 4 days, and then add it after eating, so as to maintain the fresh taste of the feed.

(2) the air permeability of the container prepared is better. It is best to choose wooden boxes, cloth bags, bamboo seeds and so on. Some plastic bottles will release certain harmful substances, so remember that they should not be used to hold bird food. The utensils for holding eggs and rice should be placed in a ventilated and dry place and can also be stored in the refrigerator during the rainy season. Each time mixed, half a cup is appropriate, do not mix too full, to form the habit of frequent reading. If the mixture is too much and too full, on the one hand, the thrush is easy to take away and cause waste, and on the other hand, the bird food is also prone to caking and mildew, especially the feed caking at the bottom of the cup. In order not to scatter the thrush when eating, a semicircular opening can be made with a full-eating bamboo tube, so that the bird can put its head in and eat, so that it has no room to look up while eating.
