Technology of culturing mandarin fish in secondary cage

I. structure and setup of cages

1. First-class net cage (breeding box). Made of no-knot net, mesh 0.5-1.0 cm, specification 10 m × 1.3 m x 1.5 m, quantity 3.

2. Secondary cage (adult fish box). Mesh 1.5-2 cm, 3 small size cages, 2 m x 2 m x 1.8 m, and 3 conventional large cages, 4 m x 7 m x 1.8 m.

3. Net cage setting. Select a pond with an area of nearly 80 mu and a water depth of more than 2 meters close to the Qingtong River as a cage, with an open floating setting, with a bamboo frame as a float, and the box is 20-30 cm above the surface of the water. The cage is installed and fixed according to the routine.

II. Main technical points

1. Stocking of fish species. In the middle of May, we first released the four big domestic fish hair larvae with 50-800000 fish per mu as bait fish. when they grew to 1.5-2cm, we bought 4000 fish with a body length of 3-4cm on June 6 and put them into a first-class cage with a density of 100 / square meters. after intensive cultivation to 10cm, the stocking density of small and large cages was 40 square meters and 30 fish / square meters, respectively.

2. Fish fingerling cultivation. The purchased mandarin fish fry are soaked in 3% Murray and 4% salt water for 10-15 minutes, and then placed in a first-class cage. Every day, the bait fish are put in the net from the culture pond, the specification is about 50% of the body length of mandarin fish, and the quantity of mandarin fish is better. Draw the net to check the feeding condition of mandarin fish at any time in order to adjust the feeding amount in time.

3. Adult fish culture. At the beginning of July, about 10 centimeters of mandarin fish species were put into secondary cages, with the fish species cultivated in bait ponds as the main bait, and the insufficient part purchased wild miscellaneous fish from Qingtong River and other waters. The specification of bait fish does not exceed 50% of the body length of mandarin fish, and the two quantities are matched at 1:20.

4. Prevention and treatment of fish disease. Because mandarin fish only eat live fish all their lives, it is best to take prevention as the main and a combination of prevention and control in the prevention and treatment of fish diseases. During the intensive breeding period, Siniperca chuatsi species are most prone to parasitic diseases. Therefore, every 5-7 days, select high-efficiency and low-toxic insecticidal sterilization drugs to rotate and wash fish seeds. During the period of adult fish culture, medicine bags are used for disinfection every 7-10 days, and bait fish must be washed with drugs before feeding.

5. Daily management. Keep inspecting the box every day to check whether the cage is damaged, the abundance of bait fish, the change of water quality and so on. Generally wash the cage once in 10-15 days to maintain the smooth exchange of water inside and outside the cage.
