Technical points 1: intensive farming mostly adopts the mode of large herring raising small herring. The recommended stocking standard is 190 to 220 catties of about 3 to 4 jin per mu, 30 jin of 6-10 seedlings per jin, and 500 to 800 crucian carps and 150 silver carp per jin. This release mode can make full use of the comprehensive production capacity of the pond, increase the yield, improve the benefit and reduce the disease.

Technical point 2: feeding mode, after many years of breeding, the material has been changed from the previous heavy material to the present expanded material after many years of practice and adjustment, the first is to increase the utilization of feed material and reduce the waste of feed, the second is to reduce the pollution to water quality, and the third is to increase the output and benefit. Tongwei herring feed 8923 and 8926, which are widely used in the market, are all ideal expanded materials for herring. Experience shows that in the spring and autumn when herring is most suitable for growth, the use of high-grade herring materials can increase the yield per mu and improve the listing specifications. Especially in recent years, when the price of big fish is better, it is more profitable to raise big fish by using famous brand high-grade herring materials such as Haida and Tongwei.

Technical point 3: water quality management pays attention to appropriate fertility. If the water is not fat, you can't eat well, and you won't grow well in the end. A certain degree of fertility can first solve part of the natural bait, at the same time, the dissolved oxygen in the water rich in algae is higher, and the herring is more conducive to rapid growth in the environment with high oxygen in the water. The pond is generally fertile before and after the Qingming Festival, and the fish is particularly prosperous to eat. At the same time, in order to ensure that water and fertilizer are not old, quicklime and microbial preparations should be used irregularly from May to October to regulate the water quality.

Technical points 4: disease prevention and control should be strengthened. Herring has more diseases, mainly insect pests and bacterial gills in the first half of the year, and hemorrhagic disease in the second half of the year. Every year before the Qingming Festival and around the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is necessary to strictly kill insects and disinfect, especially in the high temperature period. Now popular vaccines can effectively prevent the occurrence of herring diseases, and the protective effect of injection vaccine is more than 90%.
