I. Pond conditions

In general, as long as the foundation of the pond is tight, there is no leakage, and the water source is not polluted, it is appropriate to cultivate the pond with an area of 15-5 hectares and a water depth of about 1.5cm.

2. Stocking fish species

1. Stocking methods: there are three ways to cultivate Pelteobagrus fulvidraco in ponds, one is to release enough fish at once and harvest at the end of the year, one is to release enough fish at one time, and the other is to catch large and make up for the small in the process of farming.

2. Stocking specifications: fish species specifications are required to be above 8cm, preferably 10-15cm, in order to ensure a higher survival rate and shorten the culture time.

3. Stocking density: the pond mainly raises Pelteobagrus fulvidraco, such as stocking fish at the beginning of the year and fishing at the end of the year, generally stocking 3000-4000 fish per 15 ha or 80 silver carp and bighead carp. It is not suitable to use omnivorous bottom fish such as carp, crucian carp and tilapia to avoid competing with Pelteobagrus fulvidraco for feed and habitat and affecting its growth.

Third, put into feed

1. Feed source: the main culture of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco in the pond should be fed with compound feed. The protein content of formula feed is generally about 34%, and the ratio of animal protein egg to plant protein is 1:2. Animal protein feed is mainly fish meal, blood meal or silkworm pupa powder; plant protein mainly includes all kinds of meal, rice bran, wheat bran and so on. If there is no formula feed, you can feed peanut cake, bean cake, bran and so on, but you should often feed some wild weeds to supplement animal protein.

2. Feeding method: according to the feeding habits of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco cluster, a feeding table should be set up in the pond, generally one for every 15 hectares of fish pond. Feed twice a day, once from 7 am to 10:00 and from 4 pm to 6 pm.

3. Feeding quantity: when the water temperature is 10 ℃, the daily feeding amount can be controlled at 1.5% of the body weight of the fish stored in the pond. When the water temperature is 20 ℃-30 ℃, the daily feeding amount can be increased to 2% of the body weight of the fish, and attention should be paid to making the yellow catfish finish in about 30 minutes. In addition, when the weather is muggy and rainy, you should cast less.

IV. Daily management

Daily management should mainly do a good job of water quality regulation to keep the pool water fertile, lively, tender, cool and sufficient dissolved oxygen. The main measure is to add new water frequently, usually once a week. High stocking density should be equipped with aerator, when the pond water is lack of oxygen, start the aerator in time to ensure the normal growth of fish. In addition, every 15-20 days, every 15 hectares of pond with quicklime 10-15kg, add hydration slurry and sprinkle the whole pond.
