Ecological Culture of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco in Paddy Field

II. Paddy field engineering construction

1. In the field project, 10 mu is taken as an ecological culture unit of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco rice field, a circular ditch with an upper opening of 1.5m, a bottom width of 0.5m and a depth of 0.7m is dug at the inner side of the dam ridge of the rice field, and a shallow ditch with an upper opening of 0.5m and a depth of 0.2m(tillage layer) is dug every 40m in the rice field, so that the shallow ditch is communicated with the circular ditch.

2. The temporary culture pond is 10 mu as a unit. One temporary culture pond with depth of 1m and area of 60 square meters is built at one end of paddy field near water source for breeding seedlings.

III. Selection and stocking of seedlings

1. Seed selection and transportation Select healthy seed with excellent germplasm, uniform individual and pollution-free, and the stocking specification is 10g/tail. Pelteobagrus fulvidraco fry were purchased from Liaoyang City on May 12, 2004, transported by live fish transport vehicle with aerobic equipment, disinfected with 20g/m3 potassium permanganate for 15 minutes in the water tank of the vehicle after arriving at the destination, and then put into temporary culture tank.

2. Seed stocking adopts "two-stage" stocking method, namely, temporary pond cultivation and rice field cultivation. The specification of the purchased yellow catfish fry is 6g/tail. The temporary cultivation of yellow catfish fry shall be started on May 12, and the stocking density shall be 60 fish/cubic meter. On June 27, after fertilization and pesticide efficacy disappeared in the rice field, the seedlings in the temporary culture pond were put into the rice field for cultivation, and the stocking density was 350/mu.

IV. Farming management

1. Domestication started from temporary cultivation, feeding domestication was carried out at fixed time, fixed point and variable amount, feeding was carried out twice a day at fixed point (18:00 before dusk and 22:00 at night), signal (sound) was given before feeding, and then feeding was carried out. After 3 ~5 days of domestication, more than 80% of seedlings could concentrate on feeding at feed points.

2. The nutritional requirements of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco were different in different stages of growth. We chose special feed with 40% protein content and fed it twice a day. The feeding of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco was divided into three stages to meet the nutritional requirements of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco fry growth. The first stage is from May to June. The feed is composed of special feed with 40% protein content. Photosynthetic bacteria are added every time. The fry with specification of 6g/tail are temporarily cultivated for 45 days. The average weight of the fry reaches 50g/tail and the maximum weight reaches 85g/tail when it comes out of the pond. The second stage is July to August, feed mix is made up of 40% miscellaneous fish, 40% soybean meal, 20% bran, light lure insects as a supplement, and 3% photosynthetic bacteria of total feed is added every time. The third stage is from September to October, which is the fattening and weight increasing stage of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco. The feed is mainly special feed with 40% protein content, supplemented by miscellaneous fish, and 4% photosynthetic bacteria are added every time. The quality of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco can be improved by adding photosynthetic bacteria and feeding miscellaneous fish properly. During the breeding period, the feed coefficient was 1.0.

3. At the end of May, with the temperature rising, a large number of insects reproduce and grow. At this time, one lighting lamp is installed above the feed platform in the temporary culture pond, and two lighting lamps are installed above the feed platform in the rice field. After the insects fall into the water, they can be fed by Pelteobagrus fulvidraco, which not only reduces the feed cost, increases animal sexual nutrition, but also reduces the occurrence of insect pests in rice planting.

V. Fish disease prevention

1. Keep changing water and keep the effective water depth of rice field for breeding yellow catfish. Before July, the depth of the field surface shall be maintained at 10cm~15cm; after July, the depth of the field surface shall be maintained at 15cm~20cm. Change water every 5 to 7 days.

2. The water quality is regulated by sprinkling 0.2ppm dibromohydantoin on the whole field every 15 days and sprinkling 8ppm~ 10ppm photosynthetic bacteria on the whole field every 10 days to keep the pool water fresh, cool and tender.

3. When moss does not form filaments, sprinkle copper sulfate 1ppm or bleach 2ppm on the local water surface where moss appears to completely kill it.

VI. Rice cultivation and management

The basic principle of ecological culture of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco in paddy field is to improve the comprehensive benefit of rice and fish under the condition of slightly decreasing rice yield compared with monoculture rice.
