Sea bass has strong disease resistance and is not easy to get sick under natural conditions. However, due to the great changes in its living environment and space, artificial high-density culture is easy to cause disease. It is necessary to strengthen disease prevention, regularly disinfect aquaculture ponds and tables with drugs, and find diseases and treat them as soon as possible. Common fish diseases are:

1. Enteritis

The abdomen of the diseased fish is dilated, the anus is red and swollen, and there is a yellowish mucus outflow from the squeezed abdomen. It is mainly caused by feeding stale and spoiled feed. Oxytetracycline can be used as bait for treatment, 10 grams for every 50 kg of fish, halved after the next day, continuously fed for 6 days, or 2 grams of norfloxacin for feeding.

2. Gill rot disease

The sick fish are dark, wander away from the group and slow to respond to the outside world. Open the Gill cover, the Gill filament is pale and the Gill is rotten. The cause of the disease is that the water quality becomes turbid after heavy rain, and it is easy to catch the disease, especially after cage culture after heavy rain, the upstream mud and sand flow hits the fish, and the sea bass is very easy to be infected with this disease, resulting in great losses. In treatment, 0.4ppm can be used to sprinkle the whole pond or cage for 3 days, and the therapeutic effect is obvious.

3. Hemorrhagic disease

The base of the pectoral fin and dorsal fin of the diseased fish is red, swollen and congested, and the diseased fish moves slowly and the food intake decreases. The disease is a viral infection with strong infectivity.

4. Water mildew

The disease mostly occurs in winter and spring. The grayish-white cotton-like mycelium is attached to the wound on the body surface of the diseased fish. The fish is weak and dies slowly. The disease spreads quickly after infection. At the same time, fish fry transport, net operation should also be careful to avoid fish injury.

5. Parasitic diseases

Small white bright spots appeared on the body surface and fins of the diseased fish, and the mucus in the parasitic part increased. Sick fish do not eat, act strangely, and often swim around the pond. The common parasites are melon worm, cumulus, rotifer and so on. 20ppm formalin can be used to sprinkle the whole pool for 2 days. Be careful to use trichlorfon, organophosphorus and other drugs in treatment, otherwise it will cause perch drug poisoning.

Harvest

Generally, it can be listed as commercial fish by the end of the year. One-time fishing can be done in dry ponds, or it can be listed in batches with water and dragging nets according to changes in market demand. The latter should be careful not to put the perch back into the pond after catching the net, as it will be injured by pulling the net and die soon after returning to the pond.
