I think we are all very familiar with the snail, especially with the continuous improvement of our living standards in recent years, so we pay more and more attention to eating, so the snail has gradually moved towards thousands of households, especially in the midnight snack industry. Snail is widely used.

Treatment of farmed snail wilt and shrunken disease

The causes of field snail wilting disease are serious parasite infection, serious lack of feed, excessive stocking density and so on.

The symptoms of field snail wilting and shrunken disease: the body is seriously emaciated, the body is weak, and its conch goes deep into the inner surface of the snail shell.

Treatment of snail wilt: due to parasite infection, it can be treated with reference to parasitic and invasive diseases; due to a serious lack of feed, it can be strengthened.

Prospect of field snail culture

Snail meat is a kind of nutritious natural health food, and it is also known as beauty food abroad. It contains 10.3% protein and 1.2% fat, as well as vitamins, calcium, iron and other essential elements. The nutrition of field snail meat is better than that of chickens, ducks, geese and pigs, and is no less than that of crucian carp and sea cucumbers. Snail meat can nourish kidney yin, clear eyes and clear brain, enhance muscle elasticity, delicate skin and so on.

Field snail can be used as home meat, can also be processed into a series of food, cooking a variety of medicinal meals, disease prevention and treatment. At present, the natural growth of field snail is far from being able to meet the market demand, and the field snail culture grows fast, the yield is high, and there is a wide range of ways to cultivate field snail "money".

Do you make money by raising snails?

Field snail is the general name of edible aquatic animals of Oncomellidae. There are many kinds of snails, such as round field snail, field snail, yellow snail, snail, sweet snail and so on. In recent years, with the decrease of the natural output of field snail, the field snail market is becoming more and more optimistic. At present, artificial breeding has been started in Guangdong, Fujian and other areas, and many farmers have made great efforts to cultivate snails as a way to start a business.

Culture technique of field snail in pond

1. Pond requirements: field snails can live normally in paddy fields, ditches, ponds and other water bodies with a depth of more than 20cm, and can adapt to the fertile and water environment, as long as the soil pond with a depth of more than 1m is selected, and the soft humus soil is better at the bottom of the pond, and the area is unlimited. In order to increase the creeping area of field snails and create a good sunshade condition, hollow vegetables can be planted at the edge of the pond; if the pond area is large, some water plants such as lotus seeds or floating plants can be planted in the middle of the pond.

2. Water source conditions: the snail is resistant to cold and afraid of heat, and its suitable temperature range for life is 20 ℃ ~ 28 ℃. When it is lower than 10 ℃ or higher than 30 ℃, it will stop feeding and drill into the soil and grass to avoid cold and heat. When the water temperature exceeds 40 ℃, the snail will be scalded to death. Therefore, in order to ensure that the pond can often be flushed during the hot season, the water source of the breeding site must be adequate and free from industrial and agricultural sewage pollution.

3. Pond disinfection: 15 days before snail stocking, the pond is thoroughly disinfected with quicklime or bleach powder. The specific methods are as follows: the disinfection dosage of dry pool of quicklime is 60kg/ mu ~ 70kg/ mu, the dosage of cleaning pond with water (water depth 1m) is 135kg/ mu ~ 165kg/ mu, and the whole pool is sprinkled after pulping; the disinfection dosage of dry pool of bleaching powder is 10kg/ mu ~ 12kg/ mu, and the dosage of cleaning pond with water (water depth 1m) is 13kg/ mu ~ 14kg/ mu, and the whole pond is sprinkled after dissolving.

4. Selection and stocking of snails: the specification of snails should be about 60 / kg~80 / kg. Adult snails from artificial culture can be selected, or wild snails can be purchased directly from the producing area. When purchasing wild snails, it is necessary to remove adult snails with rough surface shells, attached to a large number of algae and dark colors, because this kind of adult snails often die in large numbers after giving birth, and some even die before giving birth, which directly affects the production of aquaculture.

In the process of field snail culture, disease prevention is very important. Only by controlling the disease of field snail can we increase the production of field snail culture and create more profits under the same conditions. therefore, it is very necessary for breeders to understand and understand the disease of field snails.
