The snail has miscellaneous food habits, fast growth, strong adaptability, easy reproduction and easy breeding, but likes shade and is afraid of light, so it is suitable for paddy field culture. In this way, we can make full use of our strengths and avoid weaknesses, seek advantages and avoid disadvantages. Raising field snails while planting rice in rice fields can not only increase rice yield, but also obtain a large number of high-quality commercial field snails, and less investment and high efficiency is a good way to quickly increase income and become rich in rural areas.

1. Rice fields to choose snail-raising rice fields should choose rice fields that are dry and flood-free, and should not be operated by agricultural machinery and should not be ploughed and raked, but weeds must be eradicated.

Second, the water quality requires that the snail is sensitive to the dissolved oxygen in the field water. When the oxygen content is less than 3.5 mg / L, the food intake is poor, and the dissolved oxygen begins to die at 1.5 mg / L. Therefore, the field water must have fresh water quality and high dissolved oxygen content.

Third, the construction of paddy field facilities can also leave a hole in rice transplanting. Within one week after transplanting, a high-yield ditch with a width of 20ml / 30cm and a depth of 13m / 17cm will be dug, and a denser fence or polyethylene mesh with smaller mesh should be set up at the inlet and outlet of the paddy field. Around the ridge of the field, strictly prevent rats, snakes and other drilling hole leakage, so as to prevent the snail escape.

4. Stocking and management of snails. 1. Stocking. Artificial breeding field snails should be flexibly controlled according to the actual situation, generally 9-105000 snails per hectare. Can also be put into snail species, generally stocked snails per square meter 0.1 MUE 0.5 kg. 2. Bait. Snail food is miscellaneous, in addition to eating natural bait, can be properly fed to some green vegetables, bean cakes, rice bran, earthworms, etc., but also can be fed to other animal offal, scraps and so on. The bait should be fresh, and the snails can be fed 2 weeks after birth. When feeding, soak the solid bait first, chop up the fish, animal offal and leftovers, and then mix well with rice bran or bran before feeding. Feed once a day, usually at 8: 00 am. The daily feeding amount is about 1% Mur3% of the total weight of field snails, and with the gradual increase of body weight, its food intake can be adjusted appropriately. For some of the more fertile rice fields, it is also possible not to bait and feed on natural zooplankton and aquatic plants in the water. When feeding, if it is found that the shrunken meat is overflowing, it shows that the snail lacks calcium, and shrimp skin bran and shell powder should be added to the bait at this time. If the mackerel is trapped in the shell, it is caused by insufficient bait and hunger, so the feeding amount should be increased so as not to affect the growth and reproduction of field snails. 3. Feeding and management. In the feeding and management of field snails, the most important thing is to pay attention to the management of water quality and water temperature. In summer and autumn, snail feeding is exuberant, and it is high temperature season, so flushing water for water irrigation is adopted to reduce water temperature and increase dissolved oxygen content. In addition, water sources and industrial wastewater with excessive contents of iron and sulfur should never be used, as this will directly lead to the death of snails.
