Muskrat feed consumption is less in winter, because the weather is cold, the feed is not easy to deteriorate, feed feeding can not be carried out every day, muskrat can be fed with 2Mel feed for 3 days at a time. The concentrate of muskrat in winter can be fed according to 72% corn flour, 7% bean cake, 20% wheat bran, 0.5% bone meal, 0.5% salt, 30 grams per day, green feed can be fed with vegetables, poplar, willow branches, etc., 200 grams per day. The living condition of the muskrat can be judged according to its food intake. If it is found that the muskrat does not eat feed or eat very little feed, it should be checked in order to find problems and deal with the epidemic disease in time. In general, there is no need to add drinking water, as long as some juicy vegetables are fed in the green feed, it can basically meet the water needs of muskrats.

The muskrat enclosure does not need to be cleaned every day in winter, but it should also be observed frequently, first, to check whether the cage is cracked and ventilated, second to check whether there is less grass to supplement, third to check feed consumption, and fourth to check whether there is a loss of escape, and record every inspection.
