Large and small geckos are raised separately, and when the body length is about 90mm, the eyes can be raised in the house of the big gecko. If the gecko is raised in the same room with the big gecko, it is easy to be swallowed. When the temperature is 18 ℃ and 20 min, gecko begins to move and feed. Gekko gecko moves and preys on larvae at night. After dark at night, gecko enters the activity field along the gap in the roof. At this time, the black light trapping lamp is turned on, and the phototactic insects come to meet the light and fall into the activity field, gecko can hunt. A 20-watt black light trapping lamp traps insects with a range of more than 200 meters. It can trap tens of thousands of insects in one night, weighing more than 500 grams. These insects are enough to feed more than 400 geckos. In case of insufficient feed, silkworms, castor silkworms, cockroaches and turtles can be supplemented. Gekko gecko has poor cold tolerance and no heat resistance. generally, the survival temperature should be above 8 ℃, above 15 ℃, feeding above 17 ℃, and the most active at about 22 ℃. Because there is a difference in physical strength between individuals, so cold tolerance is also different.

Robust individuals do not die even at room temperature of 5 ℃, while thin individuals can be frozen to death at 10-13 ℃. Young geckos have even worse cold tolerance and generally cannot tolerate temperatures below 13 ℃. Therefore, the temperature changes in winter and early spring. When it is more dramatic, it is necessary to do a good job in preventing cold and keeping warm. At this time, close the doors and windows so that the cold wind can not invade: the place where gecko perches can hang sacks and, if necessary, burn charcoal brazier to increase temperature to keep room temperature not less than 13 ℃. At this temperature, gecko will not freeze to death. It was not until the sting or the Spring Equinox that the gecko began to move again. If the room temperature is more than 20 ℃ in winter, silkworms, cockroaches and soft-shelled turtles can be fed. If there is no feed, gecko consumes nutrients, it will lose weight quickly, and its cold resistance will decrease, and it is easy to die. The cold resistance of gecko gecko is weak, and special attention should be paid to its management. In summer, when the room temperature rises to 32 ℃, we should not only splash water to cool down and increase shading equipment, but also add drinking water utensils in the breeding room to provide drinking water, or combined with cooling, sprinkle water on gecko. On hot days, gecko likes a humid environment, so it is best to keep the indoor relative humidity between 70% and 90%. If the relative humidity falls below 50%, water should be sprinkled indoors to increase humidity. In addition to the above work, we should also often clean indoor sanitation, clean drinking water appliances, change drinking water, check whether there are holes in the room: check whether gecko is healthy. Those found to be sick should be quarantined in time. In general, sick gecko is mainly manifested in the poor adsorption of its feet and likes to stay alone in bright or low places.
