The diseases of hedgehog include enteritis, dermatosis, parasites and so on. Some diseases are related to the ecological environment of feeding and the choice of food. The hedgehog suffering from enteritis has dull thorns, weak walking and diarrhea. Can be fed with fresh feed, oxytetracycline 3 times a day, 0.25 grams each time. When the hedgehog suffers from dermatophytosis, it can be seen that its face, legs and back are whitened and broken, which can be treated with tinea ointment. Hedgehog suffering from ascariasis, it can be seen that its loss of appetite, drowsiness, weakness, you can use insecticide net treatment, 2 times a day, 2 tablets each time.

Hedgehogs can be caught all year round. Because of their slow movement, hedgehogs curl up into a prickly ball when they encounter an enemy, which is easy to catch. The captured hedgehog can be crushed to death with stone, separate the flesh, or step on it with its feet. When its four feet open slightly, use a sharp knife to cut longitudinally from its abdomen to the anus, press it tightly with its feet, protrude its internal organs, claw meat and grease from the wound, cut off 4 claws, step on it with its feet, squeeze out all the fat, peel it and turn it open to make the prickles match inward, scrape off the residual meat and grease, and use bamboo pieces to support the skin and hang it in the ventilated place to dry.
